Garden Center at The Home Depot

Got a very cute cactus there and the special fast draining soil for it to be planted into the pot in the picture. The succulents looked a little worse for wear and they didn't have any very small cactus. They also had some weird succulents that looked to be just spray painted bold colors, seemed strange. Very quick check out in the garden center and the cashier/ garden center employee was polite and informative.

Plenty of parking outside, with accessible spots. There are plants outdoors, and there's an entrance from the street, or you can walk in from Home Depot and there's another side entrance by the far right. The garden was well-maintained and they have a nice selection of poinsettia for the holidays. They also had fertilizers, soil, etc. As you walk further in, they had other plant variety as well, accompanied by helpful signs. Everything was easy to find.

Simple and easy everything here is, I like this Home Depot compared to most others.

This morning, because of Ray, at Home Depot, I have 2 beautiful plants for my friend Ray was a valuable help with patience and knowledge. Great place! Wonderful experience!

Customer Sevice is non-existent. Imagine opening a garden center before 8am so people could buy mulch and top soil and heavy items and not have to traverse the entire store coming and going with driving a 400lb cart of earth. Meanwhile, a pile of workers stands by and talks...

Stopped In today, in need of some items in plumping and hardware. You can definitely tell this is an older location. Not as clean as most locations, aisles are really tight and lighting is not the best. Employees in plumping were not much help and it seemed in new more about plumbing than they did--and that's not saying much. I even ended up finding what I needed myself after searching for some time. Although they ended up not having what I needed in hardware, the younger guy who was helping me was wicked smart and super helpful. On tip is that the registers are north of what appears to be the main entrance, which is a little weird IMO. Either way, if you plan on parking near the garden section or the center entrance, be prepared to walk.

We went to Home Depot 10/1/2013 to get some edging rock for our backyard. The people were actually quite helpful and told us that as opposed to waiting to get everything loaded tonight, we could pay right then and schedule a pick up and have it all ready for us. Perfect! Or so we thought. My husband called to ensure it would be ready and the customer service rep said to just go to the garden center and it'd all be ready. Well, we went at the designated time and not only was it not ready, but it took contacting a manager to even get the pallet off the shelves. They said someone would be coming to get it off the shelves and after waiting we went to the manager. The manager ended up doing it. The manager was nice, but way too much fell through the cracks. We will NOT be returning to this home depot.
