This isn’t the worst Walmart I’ve been to, but overall the experience isn’t great. A few staff members don’t seem to take their job seriously—more than once I’ve seen them distracted on their phones while people were having issues at checkout, even situations where customers were clearly taking advantage and it went unnoticed. Another frustration is that not enough checkout counters are open when the store is busy, which leads to long lines and unnecessary waiting. The general maintenance of the store could also use improvement; it doesn’t always feel well taken care of. That being said, it’s not all negative. There are some genuinely helpful and kind employees here who make a difference when you do interact with them. My experience has been mixed—some visits go smoothly, while others leave me disappointed. I believe with a bit more attention to staff engagement, better upkeep, and improved management of the checkout process, this location could be a lot better.
RETURNING SOMETHING? Hello! Let’s talk about my terrible experience with the employees and manager at this store. I had picked up a TV from this location. I unboxed this, threw the box away, set the tv up on the wall, took the film off and turn the TV on… when turned on the tv had LED damage. You know, no problem. I’ve gotten bad TV’s before and returned at other location with no problem in this exact scenario. I take the TV down. Bring it back to the store after talking with customer service. Walmart states you can bring the products back with no packaging and label as long as you can show the label that was generated through the Walmart app. They make it easy, as it should be. This is normal. I’ve done it in the past at other locations, no problem. I bring it to the store, they then inform me that I have to take the product back home to get the original packaging it came in. Like how insane is that. I showed them the email and the Walmart app that clearly states I didn’t need the packaging. Here you would think I’m in the clear right? You thought wrong. Whether it was plain laziness or ignorance, they will not take it back. I called the manager over and she said the exact same thing. No problem. I have a plane to catch so I obviously can’t go through the process of doing the unnecessary. HERES A HACK I left it there, took a photo of the serial number. The lady I was talking to, then I took a video of me leaving the store with the TV in their possession. I then called Walmart customer service, talked to a supervisor (the regular customer service rep didn’t have the ability to do the return) They refunded my money within 24-72 hours Manager and staff need training! Walmart is a good company, it’s how the store is ran that will determine the experience for customers. Do better. Below is a photo of the rude employee. Sadly didn’t get a photo of the manager. She was working. November 1st, at 11:30am I wish everyone else good luck when working with employees or managers at this location!
Sedric in the bakery department helped me with my order and did a wonderful job. He asked me what I wanted and went over the different options available. He was very polite and professional and I knew he would do a great job.he asked me what time I needed the cake ready by, I gave him the time and the next day I picked up my cake with no issues.
My family and I like to come eat here. We always come back for the service and the food. The molcajete is delicious, of course. Their drinks are 100 points.
I love Walmart! However, the one on Battleground Ave could step their game up just a little bit. I’ve been to some other ones like in Reidsville, Burlington, and Highpoint and they are so much nicer and so much more to choose from. Clothes, furniture, etc.
This is for the Greensboro location. Parking is heavy, and traffic along the parking spots can be moving fast, so keep your eyes up. As the name implies is a Superstore in size. We had the best experience with the Express checkout cashier at this location. She was so friendly and kind, and we had great laugh as we checkout. The isles are clean and this location being a Superstore, they do offer one stop shopping for EVERYTHING! Midas 5-stars for the friendly service and big selection.
This Walmart is the worst , and its not Walmart it's the people who they hire. I don't know what the process but mental evaluation should be done. I asked at 10:15 pm for a price check on a item and was told the person at the register could help. Ok got I a long line and waited. I ask the guy nick about the item his response I can't tell you if its less than the other one because one had a piece missing. Ok who can tell us , my manager he said. ok let ask her his response this time I don't know where she is now. Ok can you patch her in on the walkie no we don't do that this late. Wow that the dumbest response I've ever been told in a store. You have 45 mins left before close. If the people here not all but most are a repensation of Walmart it not good.
