We are the best moving and storage

This company is also known as Americas First Moving and Storage. I was quoted a price giving them everything that needed to be moved and spent quite some time going over exact items that needed moved and was quoted and was told at that time that the cost for the items being moved was $4562.36. Ted asked me about totes that were being moved and were they clear or black with yellow tops. I informed him that they were black with yellow tops at that point never going over any sizes. We were told that we would receive a call if anything needed added or changed before the move. They did wind up calling the day before the move when it was supposed to be 2 days prior and at that time my Nephew told them that there were some items removed to allow for more totes. I received a call from Eric stating that with the changes, the new price would be )15,000.00. I told him that was not going to happen and he then said what if I can get you down to $10,000.00 giving you a free month of storage and if needed longer it would be $900.00 a month again, I said absolutely no. He kept going back and forth with his high pressure sales tactics and my Bother that was on the three way call because this was his move said this is not affordable. I then said just give my deposit back and we will do this ourselves. Eric refused to give the $2,088.00 deposit back stating that was not an option. Dealing with a personal tragedy of the loss of my spouse I just could not take anymore. Therefore, my brother said to go back to the original and that’s all that we would load onto the truck however, when the movers got to the residence a day later then they were supposed to stating that the only time that they would have to be late was the weather permitting in Colorado. We had sunny skies until about 4:00 PM they started going over the items that were to be moved, they started stating these were extra large totes. Now mind you they’re not extra large totes and because of this they could only take 7 totes of the 14 itemized on the inventory. The movers then started looking at the rest of what was on the inventory and said because of the totes they could not take some of the other items without needing to pay an additional $5000.00. This company has very deceptive practices and literally pull the bait and switch. I had to call my credit card company to dispute the charges because, when I tried to cancel long before they even came out to the residence, they refused. I would advise to never use their services. ABSOLUTE WORST!! Upcharge after upcharge after upcharge. Canceled the pick up 2 times with the promise of a $100 "refund"... that NEVER happened. The "crew" that was sent to load the truck spoke very little English and were not respectful or careful of handling anything. The driver decided an extra $400 was due at the time of pick up although the inventory number of items had NOT changed at all. Of course the local office conveniently, could not be reached. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! The previous reviews tell all and I wish I would have known more about this company before my elderly widow friend trusted them with her cross country move.

I hired this moving company I got great service thanks guys especially I want to tell thanks to Brian he did great packing

UPDATE: They stole my stuff they never delivered. It was expected 1st week of March 2022. It's been 3 full weeks since they picked up without me being able to contact them except once when they said they would call back with a delivery date and never did. Going on the 4th week. The illegally tried to double the quote when then came to pick, then only agreed to keep the original quote with the requirement that I provide a good review, which I did initially under duress. Going on the 4th week of no info so I am changing it. It took 4.5 hours to load the truck for a one bedroom apartment with half the furniture sold and not being packed up. One guy only helped move one thing, then stood on the phone with friends the whole time the other guy moved things, then stopped. I had to start moving them to get them going. In comparison, a smaller truck going back and forth to pack from my last place took me and a friend 4 hours. We could have done this in 1. I still can't get ahold of them and will be calling the police. This place is a scam, and I advise you avoid them if you want to see your belongings again.

I need to share my horrible experience with this moving company. Moving is already stressful, and for many reasons they added more stress, money and time to my move. Overall just a painful experience, and my family got milked for additional hours of service. Here are some details: - NO SHOW on moving day! They called 90 minutes AFTER the scheduled arrival window to inform me that the crew was stuck overnight in Gunnison due to road construction, so they needed to reschedule. It would have been nice to be contacted sooner instead of waiting all morning for them to ultimately not show up. - RUDE & POOR COMMUNICATION. When I expressed my disappointment about having to reschedule and not being able to contact anyone while waiting, the coordinator's response was, unapologetically, "It's the weekend, you can't contact us because our office is closed, so that's why I reached out to you to reschedule. If you don't like us then cancel." I couldn't hire another mover since it was the weekend, so I stuck with them and hoped for the best. Better late than never, but never would've been better in this case. - INCOMPETENT & VERY SLOW. One of the two movers is out of shape, was VERY SLOW, relied heavily on the dolly, lots of thudding and banging, was on the phone a lot and took lots of breaks. He acknowledged he was tired and reduced the final fee by 30 minutes, but that was definitely not enough. The move time was from 9:30am to 6:00pm, with a queen bed and treadmill still to be reassembled (I decided to do these myself to prevent even more hours charged). - DID NOT BRING TOOLS. Something happened to their toolset (misplaced or stolen, I forgot) so they asked to use my cheap home set, adding even more time to their move. I'm not sure how they could've performed their job without any tools of their own

very efficient with their work and super friendly and patient with us while we were cleaning and opening our store and constantly having to be in their way, i didn’t catch the names of both people unfortunately but they did great.

I have been trying to submit a claim for my missing property for 9 months and I have not received a call back or email.
