Staff was friendly, & helpful. Large variety of electronics, games, accessories. Since we visited on Halloween we noticed an associate with a wonderful costume of one of the best OverWatch characters. I was impressed and happy to see a person in a costume. Overall, great Best Buy, thank you Honolulu.
Had an incident where I was returning something and they did not have enough cash due to recent deposits. After some back-and-forth, Jia and Joey and the rest of the customer service team went above and beyond to find a creative solution to get me my refund. I really appreciate all of the employees that work at this location, they are always friendly and helpful this is why I’m a loyal Best Buy customer and member. Thank you again, and sorry for any trouble I may have inadvertently caused on your accounting department’s back end!
I ordered an ice maker for an LG refrigerator everywhere else told me I had to wait 3 to 5 weeks to get it so I went to Best buy and it was here within a week. I pulled up to their location. My box was waiting for me! Super easy!
Title: Defective Product & No Help From Best Buy Honolulu I purchased a unit from Best Buy Honolulu that failed in under 10 minutes. When I sought assistance, I was told their 15-day return window had closed and that warranty issues were "not their responsibility." I spent two hours on the phone with 4 different agents including a supervisor—none would help. The product’s manufacturer refused warranty service because I live in Hawaii, yet Best Buy still sold the item here and now refuses to do anything. This experience is unacceptable for a national retailer. If you buy a product here and it fails, you deserve support—not to be passed around.
I had to return the monitor I just bought for my son this morning and wondering which one to buy. Ryan came up to me and asked if I need any help. He listened and gave me some ideas and suggestions. He didn't mind to go to the back to check inventory few times. While I was waiting, 2 other associates asked me if I needed help without any aggression as some other stores where they get commissions. It was very pleasant experience and I thought some nice people working there.
Truly the most incompetent Best Buy I’ve ever been to in my life. There are probably 50 staff on duty at any given time, yet it’s like pulling teeth trying to get some help. The male workers here are lazy, rude, and not respectful whatsoever. One guy who helped me didnt even take the time to confirm my address before ordering something for delivery for me, thus leading us to have to refund the whole transaction and re-do it again. THEN, after I pay he runs off to his lunch break. No goodbye, no thank you for shopping with us, nothing—!! And I still needed help! So I had to HUNT down ANOTHER staff member to help me. Most of them are just standing around with their boto in their hand trying to flirt with female staff and talking about video games. There is no care, consideration, or attention to PAYING customers whatsoever. Cameron in particular was a real tool. Extremely rude, condescending, misogynistic, and he went on his lunch break in the middle of helping me. He said "be right back" and I waited 15 minutes before another staff member informed me that he was no longer in the building. You would think they don’t want people shopping here with the way they treated me. I was prepared to buy an iPhone in FULL here, but honestly with how awful my experience was I just decided to refund my whole order and consider other options. because honestly this was ridiculous. You guys need some serious customer satisfaction training—AND common sense. 0 stars, never shopping here again.
