Amazing experience with Honolulu Scuba! The dive was such an incredible adventure, and the supervisors were super kind, professional, and always attentive. The equipment was in excellent condition, very new and well-maintained, which made everything feel safe and comfortable. I would definitely recommend them to anyone visiting Hawaii and looking for an unforgettable dive!

Honolulu Scuba Company is absolutely top-notch! From the moment I walked in, the team made me feel welcome and completely at ease. Their service goes above and beyond—friendly, professional, and genuinely passionate about diving. The equipment was in excellent condition and clearly well-maintained, which gave me total confidence heading into the water. What really stood out was the small customer-to-instructor ratio. With such a low volume, I never felt rushed or overlooked—my instructor was attentive the entire time, answering questions, checking my comfort level, and making sure I had the best experience possible. The dives themselves were amazing, and I came away not only with incredible memories but also feeling like I learned a lot. If you want quality gear, expert instruction, and a company that truly cares about your experience, I can’t recommend Honolulu Scuba Company enough!

We stopped in to get some decent snorkeling gear. Tired of using the junk from ABC. Vanessa was working the shop and took care of us . She gave us plenty of her time to try on masks, snorkels, fins. In the end we got exactly what we came in for and she kept us on budget as much as possible. Awesome experience and the inventory is great.

I did 9 trips with Honolulu Scuba from 10/2-10/7 and they are a great group. Larry and Rhonda are salt of the earth people, they went out of their way to make me feel like Ohana and to show me a great time. They run their own boat and do most of their diving on the west side from Wai'anae Bay offering some unique dive sites not accessible to most of the Honolulu dive charters. They partner with some other dive companies to offer diving on the South side when the weather doesn't cooperate. I personally dove with Saul and Darren and can vouch for their experience, skill, site knowledge and professionalism. I did a Wreck specialty with Saul who taught to a high standard and we got to do some awesome dives! Rhonda is a coordinator par excellence. Steve captains a tight ship. Lots of work goes on behind the scenes to make these dive charters run so smoothly. I can fully recommend this team to anyone planning to learn diving, brush up their skills or just do some fun dives.

Family owned buisness and it shows. Rhonda and Larry are fantastic and care about each customer as if they where family, I have my Air and Nitrox tanks filled here a couple times a month along with my Aqualung gear serviced annually.

If you are an experienced diver I definitely recommend booking a tour with them. Apparently they are the only commercial outfit that offers boat dives on the west side of Oahu. The dive shop at Schofield Barracks recommended I give them a call and I was happy to learn they offered a 3-tank boat diving experience from Waianae Harbor. Matt, Kate, and Oscar were the dive guides, and they brought stoke and good vibes. Matt, as the lead, brought lots of snacks to share as well. I can imagine they work well with beginners as well. The three different dives offered varied features and topography, including a wrecked plane and lava tubes. Considering the variability of the dives, as well as the experience of the other people on the tour, some guests having hundreds of dives, I definitely recommend having experience already if you choose to book with Dolphin Divers on Oahu's West side. Edit: I wanted to add that my interaction with Julia at the shop in Waikiki really led me to leave a positive review. I lost a hat at a restaurant on this trip, so when I wanted something to replace it, I figured a souvenir from this diving expedition would be a good choice. Even though I arrived at the shop just before closing, Julia was very friendly and she took me in the back to find a hat I liked. She hooked me up with more than one, as they were going to be changing the logo soon. Thanks Julia, as well as Matt, Kate, and Oscar!

I went to Honolulu Scuba Compay for both Nitrox and Perfect Buoyancy. I needed to make the P.B. Dive at a last minute due to work flying me out. Saul Flores was able to get me the dives I needed and certified. Also scheduled a 3 tank boat dive with them. Darren and Leonard are 2 amazing Divemaster to have. Couldn’t ask for a more accommodating company. Definitely go above and beyond for guest. Will always recommend them. Thank you.
