I am not sure why this office has such negative reviews. If you read the requirements and prepare as they suggest, you won't have any issues at all. We booked a FASTPASS appointment so our documents were green-lit well ahead of time. Appointment was booked for 10/27/25 at 12:45pm. It was a little hard to get them on the phone but they answered my emails super fast whenever | asked questions. We arrived at 12:30pm to be a few minutes early, and we were done by 1:30pm. Service was as fast as it could be, and all of the staff was incredibly friendly! The process was smooth. When we arrived we checked in, and waited 5 minutes for them to call us back up. When they called us back up they confirmed all the FASTPASS documents were good to go, and had us sign some additional disclosures. Since the inspection crews go to lunch daily (mandated by their union) we had to wait until they returned for the inspection process. No biggie. I was able to drive into the inspection area at exactly 1pm. We didn't professionally detail the vehicle but thoroughly cleaned and vacuumed at home. Passed the inspection in about 20 minutes and we were on our way. People tend to leave bad reviews but often forget to leave the good ones. Don't be scared, prepare well in advance, and you will be smooth sailing.
I elected to do the fast pass online and it made my process so easy that I thought that I was doing something wrong. I showed up with just my car and my ID because I did everything else online like requested and it was way better than having all my documents in a folder and sifting through them to find the papers that are needed. I will 100% use the fast pass again! Also, in all 3 of my experiences here at this VPC, all the members are kind and will help you out to the best of their ability. They are just trying to do their jobs, so be kind and they will work with you!
The people from the front desks and the inspectors did an outstanding job, very professional and friendly. They answered all my questions and even helped me with the paperwork. On the other hand the workers outside need to work on their customer service in comparison to other VPCs that I've been to in the past.
Very unprofessional, inefficient and rude. They expect you to be early, so you can hurry up and wait. I had a FASTPASS appointment at 1300 and arrived at 1146. I was told they were on lunch from 1200-1330 and although my appointment was 1300, they wanted me there early. I waited almost two hours before 5 of us rushed to get in line to be seen at 1330. Then I waited as additional vehicles were put in front of me due to "still processing paperwork." When I asked what the delay was, the inspector ignored me and said to get back in line and wait. They were very rude and inefficient. Although the inspection process was less than 15 minutes itself, I was not finished until 1500. Over three hours for 15 minutes of work. If you make an appointment, make one earlier in the morning so you don’t sit through their 2 hour lunch. Be on time, but DO NOT waste your time being early. Total waste of my precious time.
Quick and easy drop off with no issues. Use the fast pass so you can be sure all of your paperwork is in order beforehand. Everyone was very friendly, and I was in and out in a little over an hour. Take the time to make sure your car is extremely clean. Not just a quick drive-through wash. Get all the bugs and dirt off of it, and get the leaves and other grime out of the crevices along the doors and inside the edge of the trunk and under the hood. Vacuum it so there is no sand in the carpet or in the trunk. Wipe down everything on the interior and clean the glass. For someone who cleans their car regularly you will have zero issues. If you have pets, kids, or go to the beach a lot and have a lot of sand in the vehicle you may want to consider paying for a quick detail job. The inspectors told me they fail people for cleanliness all the time, but that part of the inspection was only a few minutes for me since they could tell it was clean as soon as they open the doors.
Took about 40 minutes once I started the process. They were running 30 minutes behind for my 0830 appointment, so I was there for a little over an hour. Very nice people helped me all along the way. I did the fast track documents, but didn't see how it saved me any time other than I didn't have to give them any papers (still had them on me in case of course). Be patient and it's not too bad.
It gets busy! Make sure to come 15 min before it opens for walk-ins. I highly recommend visiting a couple days before your appointment so the staff can verify you have all your documents. I was missing some documents and was able to get them beforehand, and it made my appointment go smoothly. I was told it's a good idea to bring paper copies even if you have fast pass appointment. Hard copies of your documents make it easier on the staff. Make sure vehicle is clean INSIDE AND OUT. On the day of my appointment, I only spent 1 hr aguarantee here. Follow the steps on PCSmyPOV and come early. Just in case you fail inspection, you can come back as a walk-in but it is not a gurantee you'll be seen.
