I will begin by being fair, a very large majority of my purchases from Best Buy have been great, the staff have been very friendly and helpful and the selection has been excellent. I have been building a gaming PC recently and I purchased a copy of Windows 11 from Best Buy prematurely thinking I needed one for it. I did not and on top of that the one I got had a damaged box. I have attempted to return this product several times over the last few days to no avail. I know their company policy technically says that opened copies of software can’t be returned however since there is a hard drive in this package essential for the software to run I would argue it is hardware since the drive is required for the software to run and the software is secondary to the hardware. Several people at the front counter have asked me to do a variety of things to get a refund. Most importantly I contacted Microsoft (pictured) and got the code verified which a desk employee explicitly told me was all I needed to get it back. I got that information and went back to the store and I was declined a refund once again. This is extremely frustrating as I feel like I have been swindled twice, first by the absurdly high price of windows 11 at Best Buy ($140) and second by Best Buy’s adamant refusal to help a customer get their money back on a product with a damaged box. I know Best Buy are good people selling great products and this is in a gray area but it shouldn’t be this hard. This has left a sour taste in my mouth about this chain despite all their good work. I will change this review if I get my money back or at least store credit.

I am no longer interested in giving this store any more of my money. I have spent thousands at this store over the past couple of years. My mother and I went shopping in there this past weekend, and I wanted to purchase something. There was 5 rows of the product, 3 rows had one price, the row I picked from had another price, and the 5th row, another price. I took a picture, as seen below. I asked for a team leader or manager to come over and see for themselves then I asked if the price could be matched to what the shelves have and I was told no they can't change the price of this particular item. I said okay, thanks and walked away. However, after walking away the "manager" Mary, I think her name was, made a very loud, very snarky laugh that was completely unnecessary. She is a average height Caucasian woman on the thinner side with long hair and glasses. If you see her coming expect the worse. Spoke with a manager above her who was very nice and understanding. She needs to be re-trained as well as the employees that stock the shelves. Don't expect 10/10 customer service here

Best buy is great if you are looking for current and latest item. I needed a cover my perfect A21, ofcourse they only sell A22 and up. Got lots of iPhone covers...but me I got a great Android. Didn't have universal covers..o well Best Buy is still a great go to.

I met a guy named Matthew, excellent customer service! Answered my questions, and ALSO showed me where the other products that I was going to buy in the future as well! I'll be stopping buy in the future BEFORE I'll be placing any orders on Amazon. I like to know, if there is a Survey I could do, or somewhere on the Receipt that points to that? Mike was the ONLY helpful person in the entire store. While every other employee stood around, the Geek Squad manager in the black shirt was dismissive, condescending, and flat-out unhelpful. We explained our issue, but he refused to believe us and kept insisting we hand over our computer—even though I knew it was a simple cable problem. I specifically asked him to help me find the right cable, and he wouldn’t even listen. Then Mike, wearing a blue shirt, made eye contact, greeted me, and actually cared enough to help. Within seconds, he found the exact cable we needed and—of course—it solved the problem instantly. Mike is the only employee we encountered with real customer service skills and common sense. He deserves a raise for stepping up when his own manager wouldn’t.

I bought a 65 in tv with delivery service, I waited over a week for delivery and messaged them repeatedly requesting a time frame any time after 12 noon. I could not speak to anyone but a call center. They attempted delivery at 0945 and said they could reschedule for 2 weeks out. I requested to pick up at store and they refused and said they were not able to change to in store pick up or offer a delivery any date for two weeks. I had to cancel the order, wait for a refund after waiting over a week for the attempted delivery. I then purchased at Walmart and picked up same day. Unbelievably and totally unnecessarily frustrating.

Will in home theatre very knowledgeable/helpful.we conceade TCL qm6k in 85" to be the tv of the year.also best buys has the matte screen!& we cleverly did the pro card member at $45(which for me will soon cancel)so we auto black friday/cyber monday(d')& will be refunded however far it drops in price.so also added a sound bar to do the same.Go will!
