*UPDATE: I assume it is time we get an attorney involved. As of 8/27/25, I am still waiting on a response from Home Depot. We have received medical bills related to this incident, in which your store manager insisted would be covered by Home Depot's insurance. On June 30th between 8:30-9:00pm, my daughter and I visited Home Depot in Huntsville AL, on North Parkway. While in the garden center, my daughter stepped on a piece of a pallet with exposed nails, that was in the middle of the aisle. One nail went straight through her flip flop and completely in to her foot (board had to be pulled out of her foot) while the other nail scraped the surface of her foot in multiple places. We immediately went to the customer service desk, told them what happened, and asked for bandaids and hydrogen peroxide. They brought us several bandaids and ointment but asked no other questions. I then proceeded to ask for the manager and the girls response was "is this about the accident?" I told her yes, and she called the manager on duty over. In a rush to get my daughter taken care of, I did not get the managers name. But she did get my daughter’s name, my name, and my phone number and told us that all medical expenses would be covered under Home Depot’s insurance and that we would be contacted the next day. We went straight to the ER that evening. One week later, we have not heard a single word from our local Home Depot or corporate. Immediately After the incident, I went back to where it happened and there was another board in the walkway, with nails sticking straight up. I would love to see security footage on how long the boards had been left in the aisle, and how many employees had the opportunity to pick them up, but simply stepped over the hazard. **UPDATE: On 7/7/25 I received a phone call that I assume was related to this incident. The lady spoke so soft and so fast, that I could not understand anything she said, much less the reason she called
Just moved to Huntsville, AL and went to Home Depot to get items for our remodeling project. Everyone here was very friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to answer questions, offer suggestions, etc. Also, this store was very clean and bright with everything well laid-out and organized. Highly recommend this location. Piedad in the flooring department was especially helpful and gave us lots of detailed information regarding the flooring choices that are available.
Very good camera lock and finger print reader. Got the camera 3 years ago. Camera is great. The issue is there is no one in lumber that helped my mom in the wheel chair for 20 min or so. Then I asked another guy he had to go on the intercom 2x to ask for help. This is very bad customer service . Can obviously see your an employee ( Mathew) walking around that a lady in a wheel chair need help in the lumber dept. Very very poor. The amount of money she spent is more than what an employee makes a hour. Literally took 28 min to actually cut the wood after asking 6 different employees. The one guy who cut the wood walked passed her 8x. Very very upsetting to watch. Part of good customer service is eye contact and even if it’s not your department you get someone to help . . This was 5-23-25 at 8:35am-9:04am. Also checked out at 9:25am the lady in gardening cashier checked us out was more concerned of eating her box of Frosted Flakes then checking us out. This store has really went down hill. I been here sense 2011. If it was not for my mom I would of went to the Madison Home Depot. The audacity of the employees here.
The store is good but its hard to get help. Employees seem to not have any experience with their products. Nowever its like this in most stores now,.
This place has the best customer service. Adrian in pro service is very professional and kind. He is always willing to help with a smile. The entire desk is so kind , and their atmosphere keeps us coming back. I don't know what this team has for breakfast but their pleasant attitude is great. Please give them.a high five they deserve it.
Stuck in here for a tornado right now. Gotta say customer service.... 10/10. These guys got us in a backroom, gave us water and had everything from flashlights to backup generators. They even gave us popcorn . Not a big fan of being in a tornado but if I had to do it again, strongly reccomend being in a home depot.
Been sitting in line for an hour, waiting to pick up wood that I've already paid for just for the guy to come out. And tell me that they forgot about me and nobody has been working on my order. I'm beyond pissed off can't afford to sit out here for 2 hours, waiting on them. To bring me my wood. I've already paid for it. Highly recommend going somewhere else
