We had a great experience with Bone Dry Solar and would absolutely recommend them to anyone considering solar in the Indianapolis area. We discovered Bone Dry Solar through the EnergySage platform, and out of all the quotes we received, they stood out—not just for their competitive pricing, but because they’re local to Indy, which was a major factor in our decision. Supporting a local business with deep roots in the community gave us a lot of confidence. Getting in touch initially was a bit tricky, but once I connected with Kyle, everything moved quickly and smoothly. He was incredibly helpful, transparent, and made the entire process feel easy. Angelica and the installation team were amazing—professional, respectful, and efficient. They kept us informed throughout and made sure everything was done right. The financing process through Climate First Bank was also refreshingly straightforward and felt completely above board—no hidden fees or sketchy terms, which was a relief. Overall, Bone Dry Solar delivered a top-notch experience from start to finish. If you're in Indy and thinking about solar, definitely give them a look.

The entire experience with Bone Dry Solar was easy, efficient and highly educational. Kyle designed a plan that included all of our expectations and wish list items. He communicated with us about each step and clearly outlined the sequence of steps, information from us needed for approvals at our electric utility and city and the duration of time anticipated between steps. The team installing the panels and battery and electrical network were friendly, pleasant and likable while also expertly doing their tasks. The tasks were coordinated and despite the 90 degree temperatures were performed efficiently and carefully. John was a great leader of the efforts and had responsibilities for installation of the electrical network, battery and panels. John kept us abreast of the progress and is an exceptional educator and technician. We have recommended Bone Dry Solar with enthusiasm to neighbors and friends who have interest. Many of our neighbors have expressed how well the solar panels appear on our roof and the reduction in kW draw from our electric utility thereby alleviating some of their fears about exploring solar on their homes. We have been impressed with the entire Bone Dry Solar team!

Happy with my install. They did a great job running conduit and making sure the install was done cleanly with no roof leaks found so far. Everything was done professionally and cleanly. They handled all the interconnect paperwork and permitting. Pretty happy with the install. Not the cheapest, but quality work with a good warranty. My only gripe was they messed up the measurements pre-install so I got 4 fewer panels than planned, but they gave me a fair discount.

The entire experience went smoothly. A minor issue was remedied the next day. Very professional. Update: The minor issue turned out to be not so minor. A wiring issue from an earlier rennovation was causing pole fuses to blow. The technician stayed until late on Halloween tracking down and fixing a problem they didn't cause. Very satisfied!

Bright shiny (solar) light at the end of a dark tunnel. It's a long story, I'll try to keep it short. THREE years ago my panels were partially installed and I started paying for them. Unbeknownst to me, the company who did them failed to get the proper permits, and then, surprise! went belly up. Months pass. Years pass. My only leverage was to say to the lender, "I'm paying for something that was never finished. Come get the equipment off my roof, it's yours. I'm not paying for what was never finished." They sent two different companies who lied and cheated me out of more money and still, no working panels -- an incomplete job. THEN they sent Bone Dry Solar out of Indiana (I live in Louisana.) Their on the ground team inspected the incomplete work, and eventually completed it expertly. Their Indiana team got the permits, or as much as they could, and negotiated with my power company to begin the power transactions. There are a LOT of rules in this game, and Bone Dry was at a huge disadvantage being so far away (and not doing regular business here.) BUT they did an incredible job. The panels work. As much of the paperwork as they could accomplish is done. Bottom line, they responded to calls when no one else would. When they responded, they were honest. They didn't ask me for more money I was already going to have to pay the lender for (the others did.) I cannot imagine how wonderful this team might be in their own jurisdiction. Rest assured they are total pros. A needle in a corrupt, dishonest, flailing haystack. HUGE endorsement. My only regret is they don't work in Louisiana except in an emergency. I would pay double to have them.

Had a panel error and my installer is no longer in business. Called Generac who diagnosed issue and sent Bone Dry (within a week!) to get everything perfectly repaired. Technicians and service were exceptional, I will definitely use them again!

I love my solar array and storage battery. Inevitably I am the one with lights on despite storms darkening the homes surrounding me. When a storm took the grid down for several days, I still had power, because the system anticipated the storm and topped off from the grid before the loss of power. As the storms seem to be increasing, I am delighted that I have power! And, although net metering is not an option, I have not paid for any electricity from the grid since my system was installed. Whole Sun, now a part of Bone Dry, gave me the estimate I was looking for that included a storage battery. They worked with me to find a reasonable solution to placement when Indiana Landmarks would not let me place the panels where they would be visible from the street. They communicated with me, when there were scheduling or weather issues that altered the estimated installation. They worked efficiently and effectively. When my Tesla Powerwall stopped connecting and giving me data, the boss was Johnny-on-the-spot to interface with Tesla to correct the problem. I have nothing but great things to say about my experience. If I could give at least a dozen stars, I would!
