Extra Space Storage

Had a great online experience finding a unit the process was easy and quick. Even received follow up calls from the store to ensure I didn't have any questions and to let me know my unit is ready. Thanks for all your help!

This Extra Space Storage is ridiculously high-priced, lighting in the unit is so poor you have to use a flashlight to see, and its had a number of water leaks. Damaged my mattress! On top of that, they raise their monthly rates like clockwork. I am paying $358 monthly (day late fee is $56! ). Don't recommend it. This review is certain to get a canned response from the extra space storage. Still, they won't do anything about the ongoing price hikes an poor lighting.

I really used to like this place but I have never been treated so much like a kid or a person that doesn't belong in this place I don't know whether to call it racist or sexist but either way you look at it it is definitely discrimination. This one lady that works there most mornings has an attitude all the time about me being there helping my son to organize his space and his storage to where she would find anything to get on me about on a daily basis and literally address us for something that we probably are not doing and somebody can be doing it right in front of her face and wouldn't say nothing to them at all! She always brought up these false accusations people were complaining about things that I was not doing because I wasn't trying to get my son in trouble so I was basically walking on an egg shells. Cause from what I was observing she basically had it out for him. Why I don't know. Which I have a storage at their location and a different location with extra space so how come you couldn't get help from his own parents because that's why she was acting up I don't know. But it wasn't fair to be that aggressive with people who is just trying to help do what you get a storage for to organize it and get it together she never gave us a chance to finish doing nothing without always bringing up some type of excuse or making it seem like we're just breaking all the rules doing all types of illegal things and whatnot, but like I said I barely even mingled with people I spoke and I stay to myself basically. I helped keep things clean there I didn't even have to help clean. My son barely came into the building because he was so intimidated by her aggressiveness and seeing other people do things that she's accusing us of and not saying nothing to them at all. So that leaves a lot of work on me a 40-year-old plus old man working by myself not knowing my health problems but she will always act like I had a whole crew with me and watching me to do this rush me to do that the first time my son did try to come in there and help throw away a lot of stuff to make more room there was a problem to where he just gave up again and that left me to do all the work on my own again and she will constantly rushing me like it was this whole crew with me. Long story short I tried to warn my son that she was going against him for no reason at all and that he should have went through the proper procedures like the triple b first and then whoever else he had to go to up to management which I'm trying to be nice failed to do so now I feel like he's kicked out for nothing so I will pursue the proper things to get something done about this because she gave him five days to get out his storage and that's not legal at all that's not even law in this county of so she just made up stuff that she went that's how bad she wanted him or us or whoever. So I don't think that is fair it shouldn't be displayed inside the workplace and I will pursue what I have to pursue and go through all the proper channels to see that something is done about this customer should not have to be treated that way for any reason when you're not doing nothing wrong with helping their child. Just a look at things I had to deal with on my own because she was on her own custom off for no reason but I will fail to be intimidated by her cruelty. Because I have never disrespected her done nothing wrong to even be treated or targeted like that when people are doing everything under the sun and not even getting addressed at all. Not the type to just whine like this but was wrong is wrong in his right is right and she was not right at all

Facility is well kept and maintained. I was renting as storage unit here for the past year. Be warned: the company will raise the rate on your storage unit about 2x a year. Insane. I had no issues once renting my unit in terms of theft or other incidents but I couldn't afford a close to 200% rate increase so looked for a more affordable solution around town. Staff are not particularly helpful or seemingly motivated. I get that it can be a boring job but come on man..... Maybe try and offer some options. The few times I interacted with staff, and despite my trying to be pleasant they gave off a demeanor of being seemingly bored and not very forthcoming as far as giving out any helpful information. Otherwise would recommend this location half heartedly.

I had a great experience—the service was excellent! I walked in and was set up with a unit in just 10 minutes. The store team was incredibly helpful and friendly.

Best storage i have ever rented from. The only one that I felt safe and welcomed at. I never want to leave this place. Everyone come rent units here!!!
