The IKEA in Jacksonville offers a great selection of affordable and well-designed furniture and home essentials. The one-story layout is easy to navigate, and the staff are helpful and courteous. I appreciated the variety of styles and price points, making it easy to find what we needed within budget. The on-site cafe (Swedish restaurant) is a nice bonus, and the location (~10-15 minutes from St. Johns Town Center by car) is convenient. It is perfect for students, families, or anyone looking to furnish a space stylishly without overspending.
Get ready to spend the day unless you have a plan and going for something specific. Took a few friends that never been to an IKEA before. Hours later...was fun searching for cabinets and housewares. Always find what I need and then some. I have never found it too busy and staff always very helpful.
It's good to have an IKEA in your city. The furniture isn't the cheapest, but you'll find some beautiful ones. Don't expect luxury furniture. Be prepared to assemble the furniture, as most of it comes in boxes, and you have to follow instructions like a puzzle to have your furniture delivered to your home. Each IKEA aisle is a secret passageway; you should go without hunger or fatigue to enjoy it. You can also use the decor as inspiration for your home.
I visited IKEA in the U.S. for the first time. It was really well-organized, and I enjoyed walking through the showrooms. I used to go to IKEA often in Korea, but it feels a bit more expensive here. Still, there were some pretty decent deals. Since I went on a weekday, parking wasn’t an issue at all.
My husband and I want to commend one of your employees at the IKEA in Jacksonville FL. Our first stop whenever we go to IKEA is the "As Is" section. On this particular day, we were very lucky and found a few items we could use. While there, we were assisted by Aaron. He was extremely helpful and very professional. He offered suggestions to make our project easier. He was so pleasant and we wanted to make sure to let you all know how great of an employee you have. He sincerely cares about his customers, and it shows in his actions. As I mentioned before, we frequent "As Is" a lot and although we've been assisted by others, Aaron definitely stands out. Great job Aaron.
Pretty cool store. Never been to an IKea before. You could spend all day there. The set up is pretty fun. If your getting big items, make sure you get a flat cart. After shopping you have to pick up all your own boxes. Didn't know that, and ended up with 3 shopping carts and weird balanced huge boxes.
Well my wife and I have shopped many times here and purchased many things and everyone there is always terrific and the products are working well. This visit was so great because of one particular employee that I just had to write this review. We have friends visiting from England and they needed to go to IKEA so we took them over there. While we were there we decided to eat at the lovely cafeteria they have there. We weren't too familiar with the process there and that's when a super wonderful lady came to our rescue, and that lady's name is Stacey. Stacey explained the process to us and was just so helpful and pleasant that I wanted to thank IKEA publicly for her. Stacey is the epitome of a great employee and customer service and she honestly should be traveling around the IKEA system teaching clinics on customer service and just being an excellent person. We could all learn a little from her. Thank you again for your great products and your awesome employees. These are just a couple of the reasons that we continue to shop there and why we're customers for life. Thank you also sweet Stacey. We will come by to see you again soon. Take Care and Happy Shopping and Dining, Rick W
