Chet's Moving & Storage

Nate and Henry rocked it! They called with plenty of notice to let me know they were running earlier than the stated time and asked if they could come sooner. That worked great for me. They packed everything really well. Absolutely no damage to anything. They moved the furniture and boxes to a 3 floor apartment and were very efficient! They didn’t waste anytime. I even asked them if they wanted to stop for lunch before delivering the furniture, but they declined and got it delivered AND PLACED where we asked. I’ve used Chet’s in the past and they were my first and only call this time. These guys did not disappoint! Thanks Nate and Henry for making a stressful day so much easier.

I had a great experience with Chet’s moving! They arrived about 10 minutes early got right to work moving and were careful with my antiques! They moved everything into my new house where I wanted it. Nothing was broke. Nothing was scratched! They really hustled, the younger two guys would even jump up on the ramp so they didn’t have to walk all the way around to go up it. Before they left, they asked if I needed anything moved or rearranged and I did and they moved it with no hesitation or complaints. On top of them doing a great job they were also friendly and nice. I would highly recommend Chet’s moving service… They told me they don’t do advertising just by word-of-mouth! Great service and price!!

Terrible consideration for property and complete lack of accountability. The crew padded their time, showed disrespect, and damaged a lovely old wicker chair then refused to admit it. I wasn’t even asking for reimbursement, just honesty and accountability, but instead I was called a liar. When I brought this up to the owner, he became aggressive, saying "If we were face to face you wouldn’t talk this way, you liar. I know my guys they don’t break shit." As if it’s impossible for a moving crew to make mistakes. The only positive note: one decent young worker who clearly doesn’t belong with such an unprofessional outfit. My advice - he should find a better company, and you should find a different mover.

Great group of guys who are efficient and personable. I can’t recommend these guys enough. Other moving companies in town make you rent your own truck. Chet’s has everything to help with your moving needs! Plus I can’t believe how fast they were!

I must tell you how much I appreciated the 2 men who moved my household. Henri and Nate were a pleasure to work with. They spoke nicely to each other, were very careful with my pieces, they were so polite to me, I didn’t have to see any ugly ‘butt skin’ which women find offensive, they didn’t use bad language. I could go on. I ended the day happy!!! Chets was an awesome choice!!!!!

We had a very old family piano that we needed moved from a basement in Lincoln to a house in Bennington. The communication regarding the appointment was exceptional. The movers were prompt and professional. We highly recommend them!
