Didi was really great to work with—helpful, honest, and knowledgeable across several departments. It was clear she genuinely enjoys what she does, and her expertise really showed. She made the whole experience smooth and positive, always ready to assist. Overall, she was a big part of making everything go so well. Definitely someone who stands out! Thank you Didi and Menards!

Great, today! Mike was so customer friendly and helpful. Jasmine, the cashier, always has a positive attitude. Now, teach some of the other employees some positive manners and customer service skills. This includes your store manager and upper management at your south store.

I have now had two troubling and unacceptable experiences at this Menards location. On both occasions, a young man stationed at the southwest exit door stopped me as I was leaving and asked, "Have you paid?" and "Have you checked out?"—despite my clearly carrying items in Menards-branded bags. It baffles me that someone would assume I walked through the store, picked up items, grabbed the Menards bags from the checkout counters and placed my items in the Menards bags, and attempted to leave without paying. The implication is not only absurd -- it is highly offensive. The first incident occurred less than two weeks ago while I was shopping with my young daughters. The second happened today, Wednesday, July 16, at around 6:30 p.m. On both occasions, I responded, "No," because I was too offended by the question to offer any other reply. After the first incident, my daughters asked me, "Daddy, why is he asking if we paid when we have their bags?" I was heartbroken to have to explain that, as a Black family, we may sometimes be treated with suspicion -- regardless of whether we've done anything wrong. It is unacceptable for some customers to be questioned in this way while others are allowed to leave freely without so much as a glance. I personally witnessed other customers exit without being stopped or questioned. As a Black man, I cannot ignore how targeted and discriminatory this treatment feels. That is why I answered the way I did, and why I’m writing this message. Though I could have confronted the employee directly, I felt it was more constructive to share this experience here in the hope that it reaches someone in a leadership position. This is deeply troubling and unacceptable. I urge store management to address it immediately; either by removing this employee from the door or by instructing him to ask EVERYONE leaving the store the same questions, without exception. Again, this review reflects my personal experience at this store and my opinion. If the store addresses this issue and communicates the steps they’ve taken to ensure fair treatment for all customers, and I witness those changes during future visits, I will gladly consider updating this review to reflect that improvement.

Well-stocked, friendly and thorough staff when I needed help finding something, no lines, clean. Only minor complaint is, while the cashiers weren't rude, they just went through the motions with almost no interaction. Not even a "Thanks! Come back soon!"

Be very cautious when ordering countertops from Menard’s. This is the second time we’ve gone in to design countertops, and both times the sink chosen during the design process never made it onto the checkout ticket. This time, after waiting four weeks for the countertops to arrive, we found out the sink wasn’t included in the order because it was left off the ticket. I had to place a separate order, and now a week later I’ve learned the sink is on back order. The countertops were designed and cut for this specific sink, which they recommended, and it’s not even available. Now I’m stuck waiting another three weeks, and at this point I don’t even know if the sink will ever come in. *Update 9/29 - I have now been into the store three times to speak to a manager to try and cancel this order. Each time I give them my information and they tell me the manager will reach out. Today I have called and spoke to the manager was told the situation, I requested my order be canceled immediately. It has now been 5 hours since that phone call with no cancellation.

They usually have everything that I'm looking for. If I have questions about my project, there is most likely someone with has an answer. I utilize their rebate program and was pleased to see that it has been changed to allow up to a year to send in your receipts. That is proper customer service.

Shout out to the gentleman who saw I needed help and stopped what he was doing. The materials were very dirty, dusty and the boxes incomplete. When I went to look for help there were three people standing around chatting instead of keeping busy.
