Toole's Ace Hardware of Maitland

Paul and Ashley were so incredibly friendly and helpful. As a first time mom picking out paint colors, I was pretty nervous and they made it so easy and fun. They even helped me make a custom color sample. There’s 3 ace hardwares between my house and this ace but I will be making the drive every time because they are worth the drive. Thank you guys!

Paul, the assistant manager is the quintessential service first employee. I placed an extensive order for a Traeger Pellet grill and many accessories. Paul is so personable and effective at managing the entire transaction process as well as advising me what they had stocked in the store vs what I needed to order online. I return to the store many times just to receive Paul’s service. Larger box stores are a nightmare and Paul reminds me we don’t have to tolerate that. All of the staff at Maitland Ace are amazing and personable. Paul was so effective that I returned to buy a second pellet grill from this store just to have his personal service. I would rate him 10 on a scale of 1-5. He is a credit to this store and to Ace in general. I have been to other Ace hardware stores and none compare to the excellent experience at Maitland Ace

Jesse, Tyler, and the whole team at Ace Hardware in Maitland are incredible. As a lawn care business owner, I depend on Jesse (the Stihl Manager) to keep my Stihl equipment in working order so I can provide Reliable service to my customers. If it wasn’t for him I probably would not be in business still. Honestly, thank you guys.

I had to get paint for an outdoor project I was doing and I don't know anything about paint. Paul came to help me and he was amazing. He was telling me exactly what paint I needed and how much when I showed him my design. He also helped all the little details like the type of finish on the paint. He was so kind and beyond helpful, it really made my day.

Ashley WAS AMAZING AND SO HELPFUL!!! We were selected to race in the first ever US 2025 Red Bull tandem bike race and we needed help mounting some of our bike pieces. Ashley was extremely helpful and was very kind, understanding and hard-working!! THANK YOU ASHLEY!!! YOURE AWESOME!!!

I had a store experience so bad I will never use this Ace Hardware again. This took place at Toole’s Ace Hardware in Maitland (1607 S. Orlando Ave.). Yesterday (8/13) at around 4:15PM I bought a transformer from the store. Cost me $34. Unfortunately, it did not fit in the space I have. I took the item back today at around 12:00PM (8/14) with my receipt. I was told I could NOT get a refund for my item, even though I had my receipt. She didn’t even open the box to check the item (I had repacked it the way it was sold to me). She asked her supervisor, and the supervisor also said no refund. The cashier told me there were no refunds on electrical items. I was not warned about this by the cashier when I bought the item. I was flabbergasted. I like to support local businesses, but that support only led this local business to spit back into my face. I will never use this Ace Hardware again. We will now make sure to go to the big box stores to guarantee we get a refund if something doesn’t work, especially within the first 24 hours. I actually left the transformer with the cashier because I can’t use it, and maybe someone else looking for one will be able to. I hope keeping my $34 was worth it to never have my business again.

Nice place I needed a keychain fairly inexpensive and well I got what I needed ..... nice customer service too okay so 7 months ago I posted this review I've gone back several times and one thing I must say I don't know what other people have come across but these guys are super duper nice and the customer service is awesome phenomenaI i went into the store an as soon as I walked in I was asked if I needed any help 10 seconds inside of the store now the reason I'm making a big deal now is because customer service is super duper important it doesn't matter where the store is doesn't matter what the product is it is important that your customer service is top of the line otherwise the rest of the business is going to suffer as it should I went to another Ace hardwood store in the Longwood area my daughter my grandson and myself walked in there ,there were three people behind us all red shirts (employees) not one single person greated us no one no one asked if we needed any help even though clearly we were there looking for something hardware store right I decided to turn around and walk out for excuse me we decided to turn around and walk out as we were walking out the lady at the front desk now mind you she was busy when we first walked in there I don't knock her but by that time it was too late to offer any real assistance we were headed out the door going to a store that appreciates business and we did I went to my neighborhood Ace Hardware Store and that is where the customer service was top of the line I talked to several people there including the assistant manager Mr. Jake Carter I can't I can't remember the name of the young lady that greeted me when I came in the door I think the name begins with J with a hyphen in her name and she was new however she was on top of her game she was the one that had excellent customer service skills needless to say I will continue to patronize this store because they always behave the same way doesn't matter what color you are what shape you are how old you are how young you are none of that matters Mr. Carter the Asst Mgr. let us know that the owner Mr. Toole operates this way always. All I know is they get an A+ + at this point I prefer them over all others and I will refer everyone I can to this store and go out of my way just to go to this particular hardware store because of their strong customer service after all without customers what does any business have. Thank you Mr. Toole and all of the people that work for you ,you run a wonderful business and you have a great business model I wish that it could be copied for all the businesses that lack it and there are many.
