I contacted this company to store my belongings because I had to move into my new place for two weeks. I reached the 1800 number to get a quote and pay for everything. Unlike previous customers, my experience was seamless. I knew what the upfront costs would be. The only issue we encountered was that the truck had mechanical problems and could not deliver on the day promised. Still, they assured me it would be delivered at a particular time the following day. I was like, ok. The manager called me, confirmed a couple of things, and told me when the new pickup and delivery time would be. I appreciate the service I have received from this company and would use it in the future for a move. I want to thank Ernest and the team for making everything smooth for this crazy move we had to deal with!

This is the WORST! moving company EVER! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY RUINED MY YARD AND THEY DONT EVEN HAVE THE GUTS TO COME OUT AND FIX WHAT THEY DID. TRY CALLING THEIR 800 NUMBER AND NOONE ANSWER. THEY ARE NOT VERY RESPONSIBLE PEOPLE/COMPANY. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

We were supposed to have our pods delivered 3 days ago. We took the day off of work and at 8:30PM when they still hadn't arrived, we called. We were told that they work until 10PM and they were still on the way. They never came and they still haven't come. We had to call them and they said all delivery vehicles are broken and out of service and when I asked for an estimated delivery date they said "it isn't feasible for us to tell you a date." ? I have called daily since and no one has any update. My furniture is being held hostage and we are sleeping on the floor while we are paying rent on our pods. Is this a legit company or have we been scammed? We want our stuff.

Took off work for pods to be delivered yesterday and they don't show spent all afternoon trying to find answers customers service took a hour to get on phone... only to be hung up on... finally talk to a supervisor pods where suppose to be here between 10am and 12 and they haven't showed! Wait time is over 45 min to just talk to someone that's not going to give you the right answer! At this point I just want my money back! I have lost valuable time and it has cost me a 1000.00 dollars in missed work! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Showed up 3 days late to pickup two pods. Finally picked them up and promised they would show up on time. Guess what they didn't. This is the worst company to move your stuff. They have zero communication. Don't show up on time. Loose your stuff and can't tell you when you will get your stuff. It takes twice as long then any other place to deliver. Do yourself a favor and leas headaches DON'T HIRE THIS Company.

I gave one star because zero stars was not an option. I have used several similar companies and Pack Rat is by far the WORST of all! This company's specialty is supposed to be delivery of 'portable' pods that allows you to transfer your belongings from your home to the pod, store and/or transport loaded pods to a specified location for easy furniture removal at your convenience. However, pinning down a delivery date is a hassle and the removal of empty pods once the furniture has been uploaded is even more problematic. Pack Rat's definition of portable is restricted to only a few locations. They will off-load these pods in the worst possible location because, unlike their competitors, they were too short-sighted to invest in the right equipment to complete the job the right way. Be prepared for the pods to be an eye sore in your new subdivision - hope you weren't trying to make a good first impression! My pods were dropped 50 - 60 yards away from my house...all because the driver couldn't climb a driveway with less than a 20 degree incline! When I tried to speak with a representative from Pack Rat and express my disappointment, I was pretty much told this was not their problem to solve. The representative even tried to convince me to contract one of their competitors to come to the warehouse to retrieve my belongings so they could deliver the pods to the desired location - because you know...the customer is always right. Right? I had to end up contracting a couple movers to unload my furniture and WALK each item the 50 - 60 yards to my front door! This cost me and additional $600. When I spoke to Pack Rat's customer service, I was told their was nothing that could be done. My advice to everyone is to save yourself some heartache by skipping the middle man and take Pack Rat's very own advice and "use a competitor of theirs to store and/or deliver your belongings to your desired location"! Stay away!!!!... I guess it is may fault that I'm having issues with this company because I decided to ignore the reviews!!! but do yourself a favor and dont hire this company!!!!....I’m tired of this company. I’m tired of getting overcharged without my approval. When I requested the serviced, I paid at front and they said that there will no be more charges. Despite of our initial agreement I received a charge for 160, I called and they only refund me $80 and they said that there will no be more charges, today I received another charge for $350 with no explanation. They are liars!!! Give me my money back!!!!!
