I previously used this company for storage and had a great experience, which is why I chose to use them again for my move. Unfortunately, this time the experience was not quite the same. While their pricing was higher than some other moving options, I expected a smooth process. However, communication throughout was somewhat challenging. About a week ago, I scheduled the delivery to my new city. When I called today to confirm the delivery time, I was surprised to learn that my POD had not yet left the original location. As a result, the delivery had to be rescheduled for a week later than I had planned. While the delay isn't catastrophic, it is disappointing, especially given the cost of the move. That said, I want to acknowledge that their customer service team was excellent. They were responsive, courteous, and very helpful throughout the issue.

The young lady who picked up my POD was very professional. She called me 30 minutes before her arrival time and once she arrived, it didn't take her long at all to secure the POD onto the trailer was on her way!

I had to take a moment to share how impressed I was with PODS. We were in a stressful moving situation, and their customer service made all the difference. Every rep I spoke with was confident, clear, calm, and incredibly patient. It gave me peace of mind when I really needed it. What I appreciated most was the transparency—what I was quoted was exactly what I was charged. No hidden fees, no surprises. Our container arrived right on time, and everything inside was in perfect condition—no damage whatsoever. PODS also recommended a third-party company (Pack and Load) to help with unloading, and they truly went above and beyond. They were fast, careful, and so professional. This is an unpaid, honest review from someone who’s experienced the stress of moving more than once. PODS made it smoother than I could have hoped for. If you’re considering moving or storing items, I can confidently say PODS is the way to go.

I had a very disappointing experience with this company. Everything went smoothly until the driver arrived to remove the pod from my home and snagged a low-hanging cable, which tore the siding off my house. I immediately sent photos and filed a claim, but the company denied responsibility, claiming it was my fault because the street cables were hanging too low. What’s frustrating is that the first driver had no issue placing the pod during delivery but suddenly, when it came time for pickup, the cable became a problem. Update 10/26/25: I emailed as instructed below and the only reply was an apology but no resolution to the problem.

We had a POD delivered to our home. And then picked up and delivered to our new home. The experience could not have been easier. The employees who did the pick up and delivery were very professional and personable. Highly recommended!

Moved entire household from Buffalo, NY to Tennessee. Absolutely flawless from start to finish. Every individual associated with PODS was friendly, courteous and respectful. Would highly recommend.
