The General Manager Anna Mae is an awesome person. She’s nice understanding and takes her time to make her customers feel great. She had just came back from vacation and jumped right in to help me with my situation. She’s knows her job very well and will do her best to make sure you leave as a happy customer. I highly recommend this U-Haul place if you need anything to help with moving or towing.
The phone rep made it so easy and quick to look up a location for availability and reserve a truck. The clerk at the Lamar Avenue location the processes me out was nice, friendly, attentive, and thorough. The gentleman that received the van on my return handle the return process within 5 minutes. I've never had a bad experience with uhaul but this was the best experience I've had so far. Thanks!!
The truck smelled like cigarette smoke when I got it and I had to call in to inform customer service because there isn’t a place on the check in form for something like that. When I went to return the truck every entrance had been blocked off and the only way to get in was to go around to one driveway on the busiest part of the intersection-it’s a heavy highway with semi trucks and lots of traffic. The only way to get in is to go around just about a mile around this huge block. They would not comp me the mile because they blocked off the driveway. That little white lady with the pink/red hair is not nice at all.
My van rental was smooth and painless. The young man with the tattoos and punk hair couldn't have been more professional, informative or courteous. Don't judge a book by it's cover; these people are great!
Most efficient check in/pick-up I’ve ever had at a UHaul location, by far. The staff were extremely kind and thoughtful, and they knew their stuff.
