I was very impressed with both the facility and staff at the Austin-Peay location! Breunna was very helpful and efficient, removing any stress and worry from the transaction. Especially impressive considering the vehicle I was planning to rent had not been returned yet! Breunna handled the situation with professionalism and ended up getting me an even better deal the one I had originally reserved under. The truck was clean and had EXCELLENT air-conditioning! Returning the truck was even easier than renting it had been. I will definitely depend on this location for all my truck rental needs!

The customer service was good, but Uhaul has customers doing too many things, I'm a 55 year old female and not really tech savvy. I had to upload my own driver's license, As I was out to the van I was renting, some weirdo Hispanic guy was driving on the parking lot asking if I was married, I replied yes to get him to move along, then he asked could he have my number anyway, that frightened me a little, so I missed the text with the link saying to take pictures and send them if anything wasn't correct on the paper work. By the time I noticed it the link had expired. There were things wrong the mileage wasn't correct and neither was the gas , so I told the lady I had taken pictures but didn't know that I was to send it to the link before I left , so I ended up paying a little more for miles I didn't use, and I had put more gas in it than I initially left the parking lot with. She said there wasn't a way to correct it even though I had pictures. The parking lot needs to be a safer place for customers and things should be explained better. I remember a time when the workers walked you out to the trucks to make sure everything was correct, please bring that back , First it's a great safety measure to have someone walk with you, second you don't end up over paying for already expensive prices! I feel like they beat me out of my money for these reasons I'm giving this place a low rating!

Be careful, you can't tow a U-Haul trailer with a U-Haul truck. It's a shame that only the U-Haul office told me about this. Good thing I was planning on towing it with my truck from the start. Great service, easy and convenient

Drove up to the equipment return and sat for 10 minutes before I decided to detach the equipment myself. Proceeded to go inside and found an employee playing on her phone. I told her I had a dolly to return, and she turned to look at the cameras and couldn't see the dolly clear enough in the picture and said that I must be in the wrong location. Didn't put down her phone to look up my account, but asked what my dolly number was. Something she could easily find had she put down her phone and looked me up. Then she finally and begrudgingly came outside and had the nerve to tell me that I had put the dolly in the wrong location. That is when I almost lost it and told her that this is the equipment return lane and that the dolly is equipment. She stormed off and said she was going to get a manager. Another ten minutes went by and she returned, without a manager, and angrily, without a word, handed me a receipt and stormed off again. Totally unprofessional and infuriating experience at drop-off. Worst experience with U-Haul I have ever had, and I use this service frequently as a military family who move regularly.

Staffing at Austin peay was amazing however U-Haul itself is a ripoff, they try to overcharge you. then they keep charging you for air! Unless you have money to throw away I highly don’t recommend. However if you do pick it up at Austin peay. The staff was amazing but final prices are not.

Terrible customer service skills. On today my sister went to this location after she spent over $1200 to rent a truck and tow(on yesterday) for this girl to be rude and nasty. Not only after she was being rude to my sister she began to behave the exact same way towards me. After I spent $1,070 with this company only for this uhaul employee girl to pop her knuckles at me as if she wanted to fight. We were held up for her poor behavior to get nothing accomplished. She then spoke with the manager and at this point she was nonverbal with us. She refused to give her name and the managers number. Needless to say we wasted time dealing with her. She also said we were harassing her which is a total lie. She does not need to represent this company at all because she displays unprofessionalism. The time we wasted with her I could have been loading my uhaul up. We are behind now and have a 7hour drive

1 star is a nice review for this place. I showed up for my 10 AM appt to get a hitch installed and was told I’d have to come back because the guy who does them wouldn’t be in until 12. Came back and was told that I’d be an hour and half tops- THREE hours later I asked the girl with long braids sitting on her phone at the desk for an update and she pointed to the shop door behind her and said I could could go see for myself, then proceeded to look back down at her phone. The guy looked like he didn’t have a clue what he was doing and when I got home I noticed 3 separate, deep scratches on the bumper of my 2024 brand new vehicle. Icing on the cake was I sat in the lobby for 3 hours listening to the most unprofessional, disgusting conversations involving the employees sex lives, and even heard them cussing over having to actually assist a man who came to pick up a vehicle. Y’all should be ashamed of this place you call a business.
