I never leave five star reviews, but must in this case. We traveled 500 miles from Nevada to Mesa Arizona to pick up a new coach. The coach was shipped from another dealer in North Carolina. There were many issues that should’ve been caught by the dealer in North Carolina before it was shipped, but they weren’t. General RV – Mesa Went through the coach with us And we identified all the issues that needed to be addressed before we were able to leave. They literally dropped the projects they were working on to service our coach. There was an issue with the air-conditioning and they arranged with Freightliner to bring the coach there for that to be fixed. Freightliner also made a point of getting on our coach right away, knowing that we were already behind schedule. We were able to stay in the coach in the evenings and spent two nights in the parking lot in Mesa at General RV and one night at Freightliner. The people at both places couldn’t have been friendlier and more helpful. The General RV staff in Mesa are amazing. Their Customer Service communication skills are fantastic. They kept us up-to-date on their progress and what issues they encountered. Their technical staff is knowledgeable, efficient, and personable with their customers. We are so thankful for their dedication, good service and high-quality skills and work ethic. Buying a new RV is always a challenging experience getting the bugs worked out but with a team like they have a General RV in Mesa, you can’t go wrong. Special thanks go out to Kern, James, Amber, Erick, Corey, Scott and John.

My wife and I had an excellent experience at General RV Center in Mesa. Mike (sales guy) was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all our questions about the Riverstone models we were interested in. He made us feel like we were the only customers that mattered. He even brought in their finance expert, who clearly had years of experience and offered helpful insights. After spending a few hours there, we left impressed and confident. We’ll definitely be back to General RV in Mesa when we’re ready to purchase our next fifth wheel!

After spending a couple weeks looking at several different floorplans on RV Trader Online, my wife and I set out to find our selected models on RV dealer lots around Phoenix. We had no intention of purchasing from a dealer, but just to get inside the models we had chosen and then go find them online and purchase from a private seller. As expected, it was VERY painful visiting multiple dealers. Lots of wasted time finding a salesman. Then he/she would have to go find someone else to answer a question. They’d ask what we wanted, then proceed to show us a bunch of stuff not on our list. And the hard sell was always present. "I’ve been doing this for 12 years, I know what I’m talking about" was a common salesman retort to our wish list. Well, we’re 70 years old, have owned multiple RVs and know exactly what we want! Our last stop was General RV on E Main St in Mesa. WOW! What a difference. Pleasant smiles from the receptionists, immediate offer of water to drink, how can we help you, salesman appeared instantly. NO hard sell. Wrote down our wish list, identified the unit that matched all our criteria and within our budget. We were blown away. So we proceeded thru the offer process to see where it would go. Within an hour of walking thru the door we had a very generous offer on our 7 yr old trade in and a very fair price on the purchase of the newer 3 yr old model. Even though I might have saved a few bucks buying and selling privately, the GRV process was so quick, so easy, and it was clear they really did care about their customer. There was NEVER a hard sell, no late add-on fees, no surprises, and they fixed everything that needed fixing. Everyone, from the sales manager James, to salesman Mike, receptionists Annette and Daisy, Service Eric and John, ops mgr Jessie, delivery guy Stephen, parts Heather and Taylor, and finance Linda and Scott. They were all amazing, did whatever needed to be done to make our experience so smooth, so pleasant. I’m actually looking forward to using these guys again on my next RV upgrade. Many thanks to the great team at this location. You guys are AMAZING!

I brought our 2022 dutchman aspen trail to the service department to fix our furnace for an upcoming trip to high country where it would be 38 degrees or lower at night. I explained that the unit would turn on and get hot, but would not stay on. After my warranty paid, I still owed 170 bucks for a regulator they said was bad and diagnostic testing. We get 5 hours away to low Temps and the heater is doing the exact same thing I said was wrong, and one of the lines they attached to the regulator leaks. Thank goodness we have an electric fireplace as we have 2 small children that would not have done well in those low Temps at night. I've left 2 messages with no return calls and was finally told today I needed to call Monday to speak to a manager. Very disappointed . They were very friendly and seemed competent, but its all for nothing if something was replaced that wasn't even the problem. I will just order parts and fix it myself as that will be the cheaper option. This is why people loose faith in mechanics and repair shops. Wasted time, money and added stress i didn't need.

Visited General RV/Mesa with daughter and son-in-law. . Very knowledgeable and pleasant experience. No heavy sales tactics. Spent several hours looking at different models and learning about each one. The financing negotiations and deal making were polite and not pressured. I would recommend this dealer to anyone. Huge inventory.

General RV saved the day! We traveled from California to Mesa, AZ to pick up a trailer from Camping World. When we arrived at Camping World, they turned us away stating they would not sell the trailer to us even after driving across states to get there. General RV was just across the street so we went to check them out, and within 15 minutes they found a trailer that we loved, and had it shipped in from another state. Salesman Mike was very helpful, honest, and more of a friend than a salesman. He did not have a corporate "selling" character to him (which is good), it felt more of a "how can I help you find what you're looking for" type of character and presented himself in a very friendly and approachable manner. Service man Tyler was amazing, he single handedly installed a hitch on my truck and sway bars on the new trailer out in the hot 110 degree Arizona sun, even without me asking! Very knowledgeable and technically inclined/helpful. Stephanie the service manager, was THE woman in charge. She made sure our trailer was absolutely in the best condition it could be in, and replaced broken or damaged parts for free and made sure we were completely happy with the new purchase. She even assigned a technician to assist me with the wiring of batteries (I brought my own batteries to install) on the new trailer to make sure it was done correctly. Finance man Sebastian was the BEST. He found a bank to finance the trailer when no other banks wanted to, he even threw in a few extra deals for us with no additional cost to our pockets. He went on vacation in the middle of our trailer purchase but still worked remotely to ensure our deal was secured. Absolute 5/5 stars to this man alone. The only reason the review is overall 4 stars is due to a very poor interaction with one of the sales managers whom made me more irritated and upset than the Camping World situation due to his overall poor customer service (or lack there of) and inability to answer simple questions regarding financing.

The one time I find myself over on that side of town I figured I’d go and look at some RVs. All the salesman were helping other people. Apparently they keep all of the RVs locked all the time so I left. looks like they had some cool RVs, but I don’t know if I’ll ever be back. The receptionist was nice though.
