Service manager was very friendly and the end result was good. However, the pricing structure is a little high in my opinion. This is the first time I have used the service department and it was to repack the wheel bearings on a small popup. Two year old single axel popup with 12" wheels and the quote was $360. I could have probably gotten a local shop to do it for $75 or have done it myself for $30... BUT I didn't want the grease on my hands and I had already made the appointment at Camping World. 3 days later at the time of pickup I showed up but my camper was not out front. I paid at the service desk and waited probably another 20-25 minutes until they finally brought my camper around front. No eye contact, no acknowledgement I was waiting; the mechanic just dumped it in a parking spot and high-tailed the tractor back around behind the building. So price I would give one ⭐, overall friendliness I would give two ⭐ ⭐. The only reason I rated at three ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ was because the service manager swapped out some mounted tires & rims I had purchased online for no charge. Very doubtful I would return for the same service.

I recently visited Camping World of Tallahassee to explore a couple of hypothetical purchase options and was assigned to Morgan Hearn as our sales representative. Unfortunately, our experience was far from professional and raised genuine safety concerns. During our initial golf cart ride, Morgan drove at a high rate of speed, nearly hitting a pole. I was able to say are you going to hit the pole? She pulled away at the last second to prevent impact. The experience felt less like a calm customer tour and more like "Daytona Speedway with Dale Earnhardt." It was not only unsafe but unnecessary. After I explained the two scenarios I was considering and clarified that we were not purchasing that day, the tone of the interaction shifted. We were essentially told to walk back to the front of the building. I made it clear that we would prefer to ride back with her, which led to another uncomfortable, fast and careless golf cart ride. It was so rough that I nearly got thrown off the cart. I left her business card right at the front door in the parking lot—not out of disrespect, but as a clear indicator of how that ride ended. When I called to speak with Brandon (General Manager), I was told by Lee (Sales Director) that they didn’t know when he would return. I strongly recommend that management review the camera footage of that day Saturday/ 12pm. If this is considered acceptable conduct after nine years or first day of employment, I would urge future customers to buckle up when riding with Morgan or maybe she should consider weekend work at the fair’s go-kart track. In all seriousness, professionalism, ethics, and basic customer safety should never depend on whether someone is buying today or tomorrow. Every customer interaction reflects on the business, and this one was disappointing. Dennis Taylor

We were on vacation and had a hub smoking on our camper. We made it to the Tallahassee Camping World where they worked us for repairs. The people there were fantastic and had us fixed and running within a few hours even though they were short mechanics for the day. Nothing but a huge Thank You and praise for the associates there.

Over a great experience!! Every staff member we met were very knowledgeable, helpful, easy to talk to and willing to answer any questions we had. Very easy going and clean atmosphere and really good products and prices. A+ service and made our RV purchase a breeze.

A big thank you to Dan Ivester for his prompt and helpful service in purchasing a used camper from me. After having it on consignment with Optimum RV for a year he picked it up, had it inspected and check sent out in less than 3 weeks! Hoping it will be fixed and sold to a deserving family.

Review for Camping World – Midway, FL (4th of July Sale Visit) ★☆☆☆☆ My husband, family, and I visited Camping World in Midway, Florida on July 5th during their advertised holiday sale. We were serious buyers in the market for an A-class RV and came ready to make a purchase that day. Unfortunately, our experience fell far below expectations. Upon arrival, my husband asked about the availability of golf carts to tour the lot. The front desk informed us that someone would be out shortly, but after a 20-minute wait, a staff member named Tim came out and informed us that all the golf carts were broken. This was not only surprising, given the scale of the lot and the day’s event, but also inconvenient. What followed was even more disappointing. Rather than offering any real assistance or insight, Tim immediately asked us how much money we had to spend—an uncomfortable and inappropriate way to begin the conversation with serious buyers. We then followed him in our truck to view the RVs, since they had no working carts. The first RV we were shown was extremely outdated and in poor condition. While it was a 2008 model, it looked much older and not well maintained. When we asked to see something nicer, we were led to another unit, but Tim stood outside on his phone, disengaged, while we tried to explore the RV on our own. There were numerous features—compartments, TVs, pull-out beds—that we never would have discovered unless we asked specific questions. No effort was made to guide us, demonstrate features, or even spark interest in what they were offering. The third RV was in better condition, but the customer service continued to fall flat. At no point did we feel supported, welcomed, or like our business was valued. It genuinely felt like we were bothering the staff by being there. We left frustrated and disappointed. We came with clear intent to make a purchase, but the lack of professionalism, product knowledge, and basic customer engagement made that impossible. Unfortunately we will not be returning but we hope Camping World in Midway takes this feedback seriously, as this is not the level of service one would expect when shopping for a major investment like an RV.

Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Poor Sales Practices and Faulty Equipment Dear Camping World Customer Service, I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding my recent experience with Camping World, which has been extremely disappointing and unacceptable for a company that claims to value customer satisfaction. Upon purchasing my RV/camper from your [Location Name] store, I was promised a quality product and reliable equipment. Unfortunately, what I received was far from that: Overpriced and Oversold Items: I was pressured into purchasing several add-ons and services that were either overpriced or unnecessary. This felt more like a high-pressure sales tactic than genuine assistance. Broken and Used Dump Tank: I was given a used dump tank as part of the purchase incentive. This tank was not cleaned, and it was delivered in a filthy condition. This led to backflow issues in the camper due to the tank not being properly emptied and sanitized before delivery—an unacceptable and hazardous oversight. Dump Tank Pull Handle Broken: To make matters worse, the pull handle for the dump tank was broken, making the situation even more difficult to deal with and posing a potential health risk. Air Conditioning Issues: The camper's air conditioning unit is not functioning properly. Air does not circulate throughout the camper as it should, making it extremely uncomfortable and raising concerns about the functionality and inspection of the unit prior to delivery. These issues not only reflect poor customer service but also potentially violate basic quality control and health standards. I trusted Camping World to deliver a safe, clean, and fully functional camper—and instead received a poorly maintained, improperly inspected unit. Sold with a commitment to be long time sales representative and future business endeavor's. Do not purchase from this company!!
