Stevie came up to my family to see if we needed any help, he was very sweet and helpful! He even had time to see my sons paint options my son is usually shy so him responding is big!Thank you Stevie!!! Amazing customer service!
Had one of the worst and most unprofessional experiences at this Home Depot. I came in to pick up an online order, showed my ID at the customer service desk, and started to walk out. Suddenly, two male employees ran up behind me aggressively, as if they were police officers or trying to start a fight. They accused the person with me of theft, even though neither of us had gone past the service desk and I had only been in the store for a couple of minutes. While I was carrying large air filters, my receipt slipped from my hand and blew to the ground. One of the employees picked it up, crumpled it, and refused to return it—saying I couldn’t have my own receipt back simply because he "didn’t like" the person I was with. He even insulted and cursed at him, calling him names as if he wanted to start a fight. The hostility, unprofessionalism, and intimidation were completely unacceptable. I felt disrespected, threatened, and shocked that employees would treat paying customers this way. Nobody should ever have to experience this kind of behavior in a store, and it honestly felt unsafe. I will not be returning to this location, and I strongly urge Home Depot management to address this type of behavior before it escalates further with someone else.
Still a good hardware store but nowhere near what they used to be. They have about 1/2 the useful hardware inventory the used to have and lot more "decor" type items. This is useless for contractors and DIY'ers. ACE Hardware is much more useful to me and carries a bigger variety of hardware items.
I've had a busy couple weeks and completely forgot to leave this review. But i cannot leave any of this unsaid. This is regarding Kim in the paint department. So I was at this location on 9/20/25 looking for paint supplies to repaint a room. I go up to the Paint counter and working it are Kim and a younger male associate. Kim is a wonderful, friendly woman in her senior years (only specifying in case there is more than 1 Kim). So I walk up and ask if I can get some help with how to paint my room. Initially Kim is waiting for additional information but I am completely "green" (new) when it comes to anything painting. When she realized I had no idea where to begin the look of wanting to help was evident on her face. She walked me over to the sample cards in the paint department and I pointed out the color of my room along with the color of the accent wall. The room is a very dark almost navy blue with the darkest black you carry accent wall. Hand ing her the cards she said something along the lines of "oh boy." As these are difficult colors to paint over with sufficient coverage. She makes it evident that she would like me to follow her so I do. She points me to a primer that covers really well and even suggests I do not 1 but 2 coats to ensure the dark colors do not show through. She then asked me what color I wanted to paint the room. I said "semi gloss egg shell white. Does that sound right? The owner of the house wants the room painted the color it was when he bought the house.". She informed me that contractors typically do not use any semi gloss paints for bedroom walls as it is too shiny and reflects with the sun. I dont remember the finish but she reached up, grabbed a bucket herself and showed me the paint I wanted for walls. I dont remember the name of the finish type but it made sense from what she explained. She asked how big my room was and I told her roughly what it was. She suggested I get 2 buckets and can bring back any unopened paint. So at this point I'm at 2 buckets of high quality Primer, and 2 buckets of high quality room paint. Then she asks me what color I would like to paint the ceiling I say "white?". She walks me over to "ceiling paint" I didnt know the difference and she explained it like how she did with everything up to that point in easily digestible, to the point detail in her apunky positive attitude. She shared a couple of quick stories of how her son painted all his walls black and she had to repaint it which was quite the funny story, and a bit of her past painting experience. The stories along with the way she explained each products purpose and how to apply it made me confident in the fact that Kim knew what she was talking about. Oh and while I was texting the owner of the house she went and got the supplies I would need. Not that I feel I was "hook, line, and sinkered" but she is a GOOD saleswoman. I didnt feel duped or as if I was buying unnecessary product as she patiently (more than patiently) explained it all. I had to walk back a few times asking about hole sealant, and how to apply it. Walked back a 2nd or 3rd time after walking away and playfully said "okay last question and I promise I'll leave you alone" through the repor gained through our 15 minute lighthearted banter she humorously replied "ohhhh you better" and said "whadya need hun?". This... this type of genuine interaction is what I love when coming to stores like this. I am a welder by occupation and I could sense her previous blue collar history a mile away and her being so knowledgeable and friendly made me feel super secure with my purchases. My last question was about paint for a handheld plastic gaming device that would not come off on my hands. She walked me over to the spray paints, showed me them, explained why it'll work, picked a shiny cap color and she explained "that's a 'hammered' finish. Its gonna dry with that look and feel. Cool huh?". I was in a terrible mood when I walked into the store my encounter with Kim completely brightened up my day. I was almost sad to leave.
The Home Depot shines with its vast selection of tools, appliances, and home improvement essentials. Competitive prices and a user-friendly app make shopping a breeze. Knowledgeable staff often provide helpful guidance, and the store’s inventory tracking is spot-on. While customer service can be hit-or-miss, the product variety and convenience make it a go-to for DIYers and pros alike. Highly recommend for all your home project needs! (349 characters)
Super satisfied, happy, and amazed by the service I got today at Home depot in Moreno Valley. I went to place an order for a refrigerator and to schedule a pick-up for a previous order. Ernesto in the appliance department helped me, he was very professional, fast, and kind. He tried his best to help me find the fridge I am looking for to fit in my kitchen, he well-explained all the instructions and steps for the pick-up & the delivery. The process went very smooth and easy that made me really want to shop more and more with this Home depot location. Thank you so much for your great customer service.
Been to quite a few HD locations and this visit was not the most pleasant. Hard to get an associate to help out with tools, lumber, and finding an H Cart in their lumber section (all were outside in the garden section on the other side of the store). No shortage of cashiers staffed and standing around talking though. No associates greeted us the entire visit either. The only thing this store has going for it is looking like they keep merchandise in stock.
