This was one of the worst move experiences I've had from start to finish. For context I hired Mountain Moves to move and carry (7) pieces of furniture over a .2 mile distance. And this was my experience, 1. During final inspection the foreman was argumentative and combative, yelling at my wife while she was trying to explain to him the situation that they damaged the table. They even tried to gaslight us into thinking the damage was existing on a brand new table. 2. Damaged our marble round table by rolling it during the loading and unloading process although advised not to, they continued to do it anyway while we were not looking, and as a result have damaged the rim (chipped and scratched). I am currently working through a claim with them and will update this with a result. See pictures. 3. Dirtied up the mattress frame (which is white), and left tape all over the apartment. See pictures. 4. Did not properly assemble the furniture together, loose bolts had to be retightened. If you want a moving company that is fast, efficient, no hidden fees, and holds customer service to a higher standard I recommend going with Brother Movers company - equal, if not cheaper, in cost (due to no hidden fees), more efficient and organized, and most importantly great customer service (proof is in their reviews).

Mountain Moves was great all around! This was my first time using a moving company since I was a mover myself years ago. Everything was easy. From booking with Joseph, who was great, to the actual move date was so easy. Alfredo and John called me before they showed up and were very accommodating about timing. They were both very nice and friendly, professional and fast! They really hustled and took care of me and my stuff. I was really impressed with this company and the three employees I dealt with. Cannot recommend this team enough. Thank you for all your help!

From start to finish, the service was excellent. Joseph helped me set up the move and provided all the detailed information and helpful tips I needed ahead of time — which made the whole process much smoother and less stressful. On moving day, Alfredo was incredible! He was so friendly, professional, and efficient. He managed to arrange all my boxes in such a smart and careful way that everything fit into just one U-Pack container instead of two, saving me both space and cost. I’m so grateful for their help and would highly recommend Mountain Movers to anyone looking for a reliable and thoughtful moving team!

Mountain Moves did a great job. I enjoyed working with Joseph to get the move coordinated, and he was very helpful. The crew of 3 arrived right on time and had a can-do attitude to get the move done that day. They worked several hours more than we had originally estimated. Alfredo, Alejandro, and John were seriously hard workers and had great attitudes. I would highly recommend Mountain Moves.

I am writing this review for Mountain Moves, regarding 2 moves on the dates of 11/30/24 and 12/14/24. During the initial move, 11/30/24, I had recently found Mountain Moves through a search on Angie’s List. I was a little skeptical because reviews were mixed, but after speaking with the company and getting a quote that was more reasonable than other moving companies I had contacted, I decided to give this company a try, and I was so happy that I did. Mountain Moves was very thorough, punctual, and communicative prior to our scheduled move day and time. They contacted us to confirm our move the day prior, and the morning of, they updated us with texts and phone calls to notify us of their expected arrival. I also want to highlight something that really stood out to me. Joseph, was the lead mover assigned for our job, and I had not properly communicated the size of our move, but Joseph made the effort to accommodate an anticipated 2 hour job, that was extended into a 6 hour job. During this time, Joseph and crew were very attentive to the needs of our move, and they made efforts to ensure the best care for our belongings, especially the fragile items like large televisions, lamps, mirrors and other breakable items. Our apartment was also a unique layout that made it difficult to get our large sofa out of the apartment, but Joseph and crew were still able to find a solution to safely move our sofa out of the apartment without incident. I was so impressed with Mountain Moves that I decided to hire them for my second move, which was a long distance move. Joseph was generous to take on our large move from the East Bay Area to Central Coast, California and quoted us a reasonable rate. On 12/14/24 Mountain Moves once again arrived promptly, and communicated their anticipated arrival via text in advance. This job was anticipated to take approximately 12 hours. John (lead mover) and crew exercised great attention to detail, care for our belongings and great communication. Of note, it was a rainy day, and we noticed a defect in the truck, which we later reported to the company. Despite the defect, John and crew made their best effort to protect our belongings and they were able to prevent any major damage or losses. Even after a long day and a large move job, John and crew arrived to the destination and unpacked all of our belongings, furniture and fragile possessions with care. Overall, I was very pleased with the service provided by Mountain Moves, and I confidently recommend them to anyone who is seeking movers in the areas they serve. Their rates are honest and reasonable, the crew members will handle your belongings with attention to detail and care, and if you have any concerns, those will also be taken into careful consideration until a solution is reached.

Easy move, everything was done carefully and thoughtfully and movers were quick. I had two guys who knew what they were doing they packaged all my things in boxes securely and had everything out in minutes. It was like magic. I will be using Mountain Moves every time I need a mover and will definitely recommend them to all my friends, neighbors, and family. Thank you Mountain Moves. ⭐️

We booked 1-6PM for a move and got a call at 1PM that they wouldn’t be arriving until 5pm. Regardless of the 2 hour start window they conveniently let us know they would be 3 hours behind their two hour start window. We had to reserve loading docks and service elevators at our current residence and residence that they were moving to. We explicitly told them that we had to reserve these areas and that the apartments were very particular about the times that we had reserved. Just not how you should do business in my opinion. If accountability and consistency are important to you, I wouldn’t go with these guys.
