The Home Depot

My wife ordered an oven for curbside pickup. She did curbside pickup because she was not sure if I would be able to go with her or not. She got a notification yesterday that the oven was ready for pickup and that we had two days to pick it up. We went today and gave them a 30 minute notice. We pulled into curbside spot 3 and notified them that we are here. We waited over 45 minutes then finally a man with glasses and a hat comes out with the oven and I helped him load it into the truck. He doesn’t check our ids or anything to make sure he had the right item for the right customer then proceeds to yell at my wife for not going up to the curb by the front door of Home Depot. He argued that there is a curb up there as well. We use this store multiple times a week because it is within 5 minutes of our house and I don’t know what this man’s deal was but the customer service at this location has always been terrible. Maybe they have a hard time finding qualified employees and just hire anyone that walks in the door. We literally parked in the designated curbside pick up spots and used the app to notify them that we are in spot 3. Terrible customer service. If you can avoid using this location do it because the aggressive attitude of its employees is not worth it. For now on we will happily be driving farther to go to Madison Lowes where the employees are actually nice to their customers.

Oswaldo and Faith were a huge help in making sure we got the lawn edging we needed. They worked as a team and made sure we were safe, while they operated the forklift to get the box of edging we were looking for. They did this with a smile and asked us if we needed assistance with anything else. We just wanted to return the favor and let management know you have amazing people working for you and they should be rewarded for their good deeds!

This particular Home Depot is great and the service is golden. I have to say Coach Jennifer helped me out and reminded me of a few things that slipped my mind thanks coach. Very clean and organized

Friday May 23 2025, around 5:30pm. - found about 50 screws in my parking space and the spaces next to it in the parking lot. I called over an employee and told him to get the manager. She came outside with two young guys. Manager says to me "yeah we had a demo out here today" while they watched me get the screws up myself with a magnet. They go back inside. The two young guys come back out 2 minutes later with magnets after I had already cleared the space of the screws and debris.

I called Home Depot to look for a rare product. They no longer carry it. I was lucky enough to speak with Vinny J the customer service representative. She is an Ambassador of Hospitality. She was knowledgeable, friendly, kind, and just a pleasure to speak with. She even tracked down the product I needed even though it was a different supplier. I will always go to home depot from now on. Thank you Vinny. You’re the best.

This 5-star review goes to John who works in the Paint Department. He followed up with me when he said he would and got me the information i needed. I greatly appreciate it. You have no idea how much that means in a time when so many people don't follow up. Five stars all the way. We need more people like that.

F-. I would strongly NOT recommend James at the Tool Rental Department. He is not a problem solver, not proactive, and lacks basic customer service skills and knowledge. I wasted two hours of my time on Saturday (7/26) waiting for my previously reserved and paid-for 12’ Box Truck rental pickup at 1:00 PM. James and the other two staff members in the Tool Rental Department were there, but no one seemed to be home, if you know what I mean.
