The lady directing people to self-checkout was extremely rude. I didn’t even realize she was speaking to me because she never looked at me and had her back to me. She then spoke to me like I was an idiot because I had no idea what she had said

I went to buy a tooth brush, they were locked up, so I told the employee in the front that I needed to get some toothbrushes. She was doing nothing but chatting with the security guard. She told me to go back and push the button I did no one showed up. I went back to her again and told her I still needed help she said did you push the button? I said yes, and I showed her it was flashing then she found finally found someone who had the key who gave me an attitude opened it up without saying a word this is ridiculous, the person who had the key was also doing nothing but chatting with a coworker

Not something I normally post, but this needs to be said. Today we went to the CVS on Canal Street. As we were shopping, one of the employees gave us angry looks and, when we walked by her, she started yelling at us and called us "damn Latinos." She told us we couldn’t shop there because we were Latino. We calmly explained that we weren’t trying to cause any problems and that we just needed to pick up a few things. But when we went to pay, they refused to let us check out and said the store was closed — even though it’s a 24-hour location and we already had all our items in hand. It was clear they didn’t want to serve us simply because we were Latino. This kind of discrimination is unacceptable and incredibly hurtful. We’re sharing this because no one should be treated like this — not anywhere, and certainly not in a store that claims to serve the public.

This was a much more comfortable store to go into and get the bare essentials. Much better selection of which some are still locked up. Decent deal on drinks to stock in your room. Fairly priced.

The people at this store were extraordinarily helpful. This is the first time I’ve ever sought out a convenience store to review it. Would 10 out of 10 recommend travelers who need basic items get them here.

In search of affordable souvenirs, I stumbled upon CVS on canal street and they had souvenirs 3-4 dollars cheaper than the souvenirs on the strip . Check them out . They had good selections .
