Freret Faire

Got the avocado toast. They loaded it up with all the sides as toppings. The staff is so amazing and will add whatever you want. Can’t beat the price either. Major bang for your buck

I’d like to recognize Tammy at Rouses on Freret Street for her outstanding customer service. She went above and beyond to help me find diabetic-friendly items for a family member. Tammy was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about making sure I had everything I needed. Shopping for special dietary needs can be stressful, but Tammy made the process so much easier. Her kindness and professionalism turned a regular shopping trip into a great experience. Rouses is lucky to have her!

I HATE THIS COMPANY! These are not friendly "neighborhood grocers", they are monopolistic VULTURES. They will move in, offer lower prices, and once the other neighborhood corner stores go out of business, then they will raise all of their prices. I cringe when I see that one of my favorite items go on sale, because I know they will be raised higher than the regular price when the sale ends. The Rouses king cake K-cups used to be my favorite coffee, but then they raised the price on JUST THAT SPECIFIC FLAVOR!!! When I saw that, I knew it was the last straw. It’s as if some sleazy cigar smoking executive is reading the sales chart, and thinking "Wow, this irem is really popular. They’ll still buy it if we raise the price on it!" WELL NOT ME! I’m going back to my neighborhood grocery store. I feel guilty for supporting you!

Great small market and food area. Breakfast items are great. Delicious grits and friendly service. Perfect place for reasonably priced breakfast. They have many other options too but we only had breakfast.

I love this Rouses. It's got a great selection of grocery and ready-to-eat items. It's between two college campuses, so they stock up on creature comforts we could all use every once in a while.

I went in and unfortunately one of the items I was purchasing was marked for sale, but when I went to get rung up it didn’t have the discounted price. A manager eventually came by and, very rudely, refused to honor the sales price. Isn't it against the law to refuse a sale price when it’s marked as so? Horrible experience and I will NOT be shopping here again. Maybe think about retraining your manager Tasha.

I stopped by quickly to get some lunch and I was pleased with my experience. Got everything I would expect from a Rouses, the store is just in a smaller size. The workers were pretty good, too. There's maybe only 15 or so parking spots, but of course there is street parking. I plan to come often!
