Rouses Market

Rousses is the place in town for your grocery needs! They go above and beyond here. They had smokers prepping meat outside to sell inside the store as plates. I come from Los Angeles and have never seen a set up like this before, it’s brilliant. I came looking for diaper rash cream and was very thankful they carried the 16% zinc option. They have everything here. From freshly baked goods, to Cajun broils, to any kind of seasoning and the best New Orleans snacks! I’ve never had better tasting chips before. It was easy to navigate the store even though it was huge. Each aisle was clearly labeled and the shelves were stocked so nicely. Their wine section is incredible, you can probably find anything you’re looking for! They have express checkout for 15 items or less. It was a great shopping experience. Plenty of parking out front!

Upon my visit here, the store was clean, organized, and had friendly staff waiting to check you out. All of which I liked (especially the staff waiting to check me out part). I hate that stores are moving to self check these days. I like having small talk with cashiers and seeing a friendly face. The reason I went to this store is because it is the closest store to my house and they sell large bags of ice, although the price of the "frozen water" was a bit high to me. I will say the ice did last a long time. In fact, it was still in the ice chest the next day, although that could have been the ice chest helping it to remain frozen. Needless to say, I enjoyed my trip there and the product that I purchased.

I’m so disappointed with the ribs I purchased today! They were hard and burnt crispy. I slice each rib and the rib meat that’s usually tender was also hard and old. Whoever prepared then should have known that they were not fit to sale nor consume. I spoke to a CS agent and she advised me to bring them back and exchange them! lol No Thank you I purchased them on Carrolton Ave near my job but I live on the Westbank. I guess I can charge my $13.99 to the game! Customer lost and Rouses benefited as usual

I needed a birthday cake quickly. Mary was so kind and helped me and decorated one- I was in and out in 5 mins! She’s exceptional! And it was delicious!

I love this place; its nearby my home, the employees seem happy and are friendly and helpful. Most of the time they have what I came in for and care reasonably find whatever I am looking for quickly or an employee can help Thanksgiving dinner by Rouses Thursday November 24, 2022. Everything EXCEPT the ribs. Thanks Rouses! Delicious meal!

I entered store around 9:30 tonight. There was a guy with a sweeper on the floor. I kept crossing passes not intentionally was looking for bread rolls found them. Finally he looked at me and said " get out of my way" with a attitude ok must be a bad day man sorry. Came for Cat Food the shelves were empty of the kind I needed. A gentleman or should I say not so gentle came out with a Cart I saw the Cat food I needed. I asked can I grab a bag of that. " I guess do what ya want so I had to open the saran wrap to get the bag I needed. Finished my shopping went to Register 7 I Believe my receipt says cashier name was Malik was 9:48 pm when I cashed out.Put my purchases on the Belt. I said Hi how are you? .......crickets. No reponse No your total is no thank you for shopping at Rouses. I was debating going to Win Dixie across the street but always like this Rouse location. I am regretting my decision this evening. I think I will make my purchases across the street next time.
