Maxi Moving

I’ve used Maxi Moving twice now, the first back in 2020 during the COVID for an apartment move, and most recently for a larger move to a new home. Both experiences were excellent! This most recent move was a big one and ended up taking around 8 hours, but the crew stayed cheerful, helpful, and professional the entire time. They were very communicative throughout the day and made sure everything ended up exactly where we needed it. Bulky items like our couch and TV were packed and handled with great care, and they followed instructions to the letter (including small but important details like wearing shoe covers inside the house). On top of that, their rates were very reasonable for the level of service and effort involved, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, they made what could have been a stressful day go smoothly. I’d highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, careful, and fairly priced movers!

We had an absolutely seamless experience with Maxi Moving from start to finish! From the moment we booked them, Paola and Diana’s communication was prompt, clear, and professional — we felt in good hands right away. On move day, Andre, Nik, and Nurali showed up exactly on time and were courteous, respectful, and incredibly efficient. They handled everything with such care and attention — from large furniture pieces to delicate items — and were mindful of our space throughout the entire process. The team worked quickly without ever compromising quality, and made what could have been a stressful day feel smooth and easy. We’re now happily settled into our new apartment, thanks to their hard work. They helped me move from NYC to DC and they did a spectacular job! They were professional, time effective, and generally amazing. This was my first time moving out of state so of course I was nervous and all my items were brought to DC in great condition ! They know how to wrap their items even heavy ones. I had a 200lb cabinet and they did a great job with it. So thankful for this company. The reviews DO NOT LIE !!! Great work ! 🙂 (P.S even if you did not order the packing service do not try to pre wrap without communicating to them first. As I did this and they had to undo my work to make sure things were in good condition so nothing could be on them. But they wrapped it back even better so it was no issue!)

I told them in advance that we had an elevator slot book from 10 am to noon, but they were an hour late anyways and completely missed the slot, which was super stressful and nearly resulted in us not being able to move. They were standing around and chatting while they thought I couldn’t see them because they were getting billed by the hour When they arrived they informed me that I would be on the hook for tickets they got for their parking. That would’ve been fine if they flagged it in advance instead of the day of. They also charged extra for tolls they paid to get to me, they didn’t even pay that toll during the move. They didn’t break anything which was good. I would personally never use them again.

I moved yesterday with Maxi Moving, and it was by far the best moving experience I've ever had. They moved me from my old apartment to a fifth floor walk up in less than four hours. They were professional, thorough, and efficient - all at a competitive price. I would highly recommend Maxi Moving to anyone looking for movers in NYC.

Maxi Moving is fantastic. It is truly amazing how well of a job they did. I had gotten a truck and just needed help with a couple of heavy pieces. They wrapped the items and loaded them for me, and did it with total professionalism. They were well worth the money and the price was very fair. I will recommend these to anyone i can.

Maxi Moving did an amazing job moving us to a our new house! They took care of every detail and moved all our stuff safe! The team is very pleasant and professional! We enjoyed working with them!
