They artificially create long queues; you can wait at the port for hours. Some employees are very polite, while others are very businesslike and arrogant towards drivers.

The MAHER Terminal is one of all the terminals that is trying to go AHEAD...the NEW DRIVERS LOG IN IS THE BEST IN THE CHAIN....when is busy is busy...the drivers make all difficult because the LOGISTICS SISTEM are pushing them to do so..any way...Congrats...SENCOD TERMINAL in the list is GLOBAL...THE YARD CREW IS THE BEST...The GATE OPERATORS still learning something about WHAT BE A TRUCK DRIVERS LIFE...SOMETIMES is the speakers issues but they think is the driver...anyway...I'm from AIRFREIGHT chain...and I'm so happy to be in this new chain..THREE years into...I'm still learning and PROUND TO SURVING this new WORLD...

4 hours to get a container out. 4 out 5 day is bad. We are also late to out appt because they make us wait in line for hour when the inside of the port is empty

Port Newark–Elizabeth Marine Terminal, a major component of the Port of New York and New Jersey, is the principal container ship facility for goods entering and leaving New York metropolitan area and the northeastern quadrant of North America. Located on Newark Bay, the facility is run by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. Its two components—Port Newark and the Elizabeth Marine Terminal (sometimes called "Port Newark" and "Port Elizabeth")—sit side by side within the cities of Newark and Elizabeth, New Jersey, just east of the New Jersey Turnpike and Newark Liberty International Airport.

It is a pleasure to work in and out of this port for our customers who ship in bound and out bound international freight! The photos attached are from a self driving vehicle made in Europe that we loaded out of the port, very cool!

I travelled here on a business trip and learned a lot about how our inports come in to the country and are unloaded for distribution. It is a very busy port that is expanding and looking to handle even more in the coming years.
