911 Restoration of Virginia Peninsula

Tl;DR: Can't recommend this company because nobody showed up during the scheduled appointment window... twice. Called on 02 Aug to schedule someone to come and look at some possible mold/water damage. Was given a 04 Aug, 4PM - 6PM appointment window. At 6:43PM I called the listed phone number back to confirm I had the right day/time and found out that another job in Richmond went longer then expected and that they weren't going to be able to come out the same day. Person I spoke to did apologize & said he should've communicated ahead of time that they were running late & stated they would work around my schedule to make it out the next day. Stuff happens and sometimes time gets away from everyone so I asked if he could swing by 05 Aug anytime after 5:30PM. He said no problem, he'd go out of his way to squeeze me into his schedule, which was very kind and I appreciated. Fast forward to today at 6:40PM, and I have not received any notification, message, or phone call about a delay or cancellation. I've called the main line again to notify of another missed appointment and cancel it from my end. As I mentioned, I can totally understand when appointments don't go as planned and things need to get moved. What I can't understand is why ghosting your customers is a great way to do business. I hope other people have better luck getting someone to come out to get the services they need, but if I can't rely on you to show up to an appointment on time (or call me proactively), I don't have any confidence in your ability to properly conduct the services you say you provide.

Damarris, and his team from 911 Restoration, including Brian, and Cory were professional, conscientious and very knowledgeable. They responded to our emergency water damage cleanup promptly as promised on a holiday weekend. They set up containment, fans and dehumidifiers to try and dry out the hardwood floor but it was not successful. They then removed the 3 rooms of hardwood floors, which also required removal of our kitchen counters and base cabinets. They took great care during this process, while minimizing damage to our cabinets as much as possible. We would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs to have these services!

The company responded quickly and showed up willing and ready to help in moisture restoration services after a quest pipe running from my water heater sprung a pinhole leak and steamed under the landing of my stairs for several days before i could pinpoint where the leak was. During the assessment of how to find and get to the leaking pipe, we had to cut a hole in the drywall to see where the pipe was and then had to cut a hole in the landing of the stairs to access the pipe directly. 911 Restoration cleaned up the area and used fans and a humidifier to dry the area for a couple days. The day after they picked up the fans and humidifier, they came back to do the finishing work. The hold in the landing was fixed, carpeting was put back in and the drywall was patched. The people were nice but the patch job was sloppy and there was a crack that i had to fill from how it dried so that when i painted it wouldn't show as much. It is still very noticeable since they didn't sand it that the wall was patch. After I pay $635 dollars for minimal damage, I expected the work to be completely buttoned up correctly. I never expected i'd have to go back and fix the job after they left. Also, they broke a part of my storm door in the process of coming in and out the door. They said they didn't do it but the cameras downstairs say different. I am not sure how i feel about recommending them to my friends or family. But i guess, they were quick to show up and friendly until confronted with the door damage. Also, I watched the gentleman working on the floor for my landing, I feel confident his work was done well, i feel it is safe to walk on and that the carpet was put back properly.

We dealt with Damarris, Brian and John. I have never dealt with a company that was so prompt to respond, attentive to detail, and most importantly considerate in my life. They were fast, very informative throughout the process, and genuinely care about their customers and work. For dealing with sewage clean out, they knocked it out of the park. I cannot begin to express my gratitude for helping my grandmother with her house issues. Cannot recommend them enough.

We used 911 Restoration for water damage a few weeks ago. I only give them a 2 star rating because at least the worker arrived fairly quickly. The work done to the house looked horrible. The drywall cut out was a botched job. I could have cut it out better than that! The worker also did not clean up after himself. The bathroom floor was dirty and there are threads covering the steps from where he ripped up the carpet. If this were my company, I would be quite frankly embarrassed if I saw this work from my employees. We are also getting the run around just to get some sort of receipt from the services provided. For the amount we paid, I feel like we definitely got ripped off. I would not recommend this company to anyone else.
