From the time I walked in the door I felt welcomed! Thomas Williams was the best sales consultant I ever had. He took time to answer all of my questions and never pressured me to purchase anything! He went above and beyond showing me all the features of the luxury sofas and giving me great advice! I ended up with some great deals and management was very nice as well! I spent a good amount but what I saved was more than I can imagine! I’ll definitely be back to purchase more furniture! Thomas deserves a raise!
We were greeted by Al Jones, he asked what we came in for and we told him recliners. He showed us all of the recliners and told us about the sales and if it was available or not. Since he knows it’s a personal choice he let us take our decisions without pressure and checks availability. He was very patient with us , he explained the warranty protection and the delivery costs. Once we chose everything he set up a delivery date and we paid the cashier. He definitely was a great salesperson from start to finish. He shook our hands he gave his card we would definitely recommend Al to any friends and family.
Stacy patiently helped us during our search for a dining room set. He was attentive and yet let us have space to look around as we made our decision. He arranged for delivery the next day which is what we were hoping for. Great guy to work with and we will be back!
We have been buying Haynes furniture since 1999. Yes! Price has increased but customer service and quality have not. Our sales associate has been Ms Joyce and she’s the best. She always seeks the best interest towards her customers and we appreciate that. Anthony (manager) during this recent purchase was Great! He has the same value of customer service first just like Ms Joyce. Absolutely will recommend Haynes to others without second thought.
Love my couch. And the lady who sold it to me was very helpful and nice! She was amazing. My issues are all after the fact. First we were told that we would not get the entire couch delivered at the same time. Apparently, one of our pieces was not in stock. We purchased the couch in September, and they said the piece would not be here until November. Thinking that would be the only issue, we said that would be fine. They also were generous enough to help on the delivery costs due to the inconvenience. Right before the couch arrived, we received notification that they "lost" one of the console pieces in transit. They initially tried to say they could deliver it in November with the other piece, but after some back and forth we were able to get it in sooner. The actual day of delivery went mostly smooth, except for the fact that our center trundle piece was missing the actual trundle. A quick phone call was able to rectify the issue, which involved me driving from Newport News to the warehouse in Williamsburg with the wrong couch piece in my friends car to switch them out. The folks who helped us out were nice, despite the inconvenience. A few days after that, the missing center console piece was delivered….. with the wrong plug. It has been a nightmare trying to get ahold of people on the phone, and almost every time something has been dropped off there has been an issue with it. Now, I have tried calling to see when in November I can expect the final piece of my couch, but my store doesn’t answer the phone and the customer service reps just transfer me to the store. While we enjoy our couch, and the people have been mostly pleasant and helpful, all of this headache and hassle is not worth it at all. If you want an easy furnishing experience, this is by far the LAST place to look for.
When we walked into Haynes we were met by Jahya Hawk Parke. I explained to him a was looking for the same sofa l bought 6 years ago. I gave him the product number l had saved all those years. He look up the numbers l gave him and it pop up they had two sitting in the ware house. He took his time with my husband and me. Answer all our questions. We would recommend to sever the Haynes company anytime. We have been a Haynes customer for a lot of years.
My experience was great! Isaiah and Jahya especially helped my mom and I with everything and they made sure the process was easy and seamless. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and it couldn’t have went any smoother.
