Customer Reviews
Whole Foods Market has a rating of 4.4 out of 5 based on over 2141 reviews on Google
Always fresh, always tasty, always plentiful. I did make the mistake of choosing the most expensive container, so beware of that! Otherwise, the best selection for prepared linch or dinner is available quickly and served fresh, made in-house!
No issues with the store itself but the Amazon drop off counter seems like an easy way for them to scam. I dropped off 4 items yesterday. Some birthday decor and a rug. I was told I was ‘good to go’ and got an email within 10 min for the party decor. Never got one for the rug. Now it’s lost and I’m on the hook for that.
I recently purchased Blue catfish from the Seafood Department. When I got home and opened my purchase. I could immediately smell that the fish was bad. I returned it and reported to the problem to the seafood department. I was told that sometimes it has a smell. As a person that loves to fish, I immediately schooled the young man that fresh fish should smell like the ocean not a dead carcass. I also let him know that what they were selling as blue catfish was just regular filet catfish. The seafood department needs to do a better job of training their employees on the difference between spoiled seafood. I have brought fish from this location before and this is the first bad experience.
It was my first time in the store and I had to return an item with Amazon. I met 3 awesome employees. The lady at the door who helped me find the Amazon Counter, the lady who took my order and showed me how to do a phone return.. finally, the young man at the self checkout who took the time to help me set my Amazon Prime to my order when my phone was not working right. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. The store was clean, well lit and had an interesting selection of items! I will be back!
The atmosphere of this store was exemplary—everything one could hope for in a grocery shopping experience. Carts and baskets were readily available, the lighting was bright and welcoming, and the store layout was intuitive and easy to navigate. Each aisle was impeccably organized, with products neatly arranged and in their proper places. At checkout, multiple lanes were open, with staff members actively greeting customers and directing them to available registers. The associate at my register was exceptionally friendly, engaging in a pleasant conversation about one of my purchases. Additionally, another staff member who was not assisting a customer stepped in to help with bagging, ensuring a smooth and efficient checkout process. Both employees were cheerful, professional, and seemed genuinely enthusiastic about their roles, which contributed to a truly positive and enjoyable experience. ChatGPT can
Since the opening of your store in Newport News, this has been the cake for me. The Berry Chantilly Cake has been part of every celebration in my family and business — I absolutely love it! However, last September we purchased one for a close friend, and to my surprise, I couldn’t eat it. I thought maybe it was just that particular cake being old or not fresh. But last week was my birthday, and my family surprised me with my favorite cake again — and once more, it was dry, had barely any cream, and the fruit inside was missing in action. I understand that costs are rising and adjustments may need to be made, but when quality is sacrificed, you lose loyal customers like me. I’m not writing this to ask for a free cake — I’m writing because I’m truly disappointed.
When on Friday and oysters. Yes they open them for you. The week before when I got the gentleman was very knowledgeable about the oysters and which was best one. The first gentleman would tap on them to make sure was good. This guy just open and put in pan on ice. What happen to caring for customer.
