When I walked in, I didn’t know what to expect; however, I was greeted politely by a gentleman behind the counter. He was very cordial, welcoming like. He was honest enough to let me know I didn’t need a more expensive part for my car and completed the minor repair in less than 45 minutes. I don’t know the name of the employee but he/ Big Al’s was a blessing to me!

Faulty Tune-Up Damaged My Car I’m very disappointed with the service I received from Big Al’s Automotive. I took my 2006 Dodge Charger in for a routine tune-up, and shortly after the service, my car started misfiring and then completely stopped starting. I brought my vehicle to another certified automotive company to find out what was wrong. After inspecting it, they told me the misfires and starting issues were likely caused by a faulty tune-up done at Big Al’s. Because of this, I had to spend more money getting my transmission and other components checked by another shop, which confirmed that the problems stemmed from that original tune-up. Before bringing my car to Big Al’s, it ran fine. Now, I can’t even drive it, and I’ve had to pay for additional diagnostics and repairs that shouldn’t have been necessary. I’ve reached out asking Big Al’s to take responsibility and reimburse me for the costs I’ve incurred due to their poor workmanship. I hope they make this right, but for now, I’d advise others to be cautious before trusting this shop with your vehicle.

I take all my vehicles to big Al’s. Also recommend them to anybody who has any type of vehicle issues which they are qualified to take care of once I taken one vehicle there I have not stopped very happy with the work very professional very oriented. They take pride and what they do And how they treat us as customers they do not hold onto your car for more than needed be, which is my favorite thing because I am always need of my vehicles. Well this time I took two vehicles to them within 2 days. And as usual Shaw and the crew went above and beyond to get the work done on time and at a fair price. I can also say that the manager Shaw has a consistency and follow through that is rarely found these days. This is coming from a customer experience of many years.

My experience at big Al's on military Highway was great! I initially went in at a certain appointment since it was 12 noon. I figured I had a lot of customers ahead of me! But to my surprise, Shaw got me in and out in a reasonable amount of time on a walk-in, thanks big Al specially, a big thanks to Shaw! I'll definitely be back to do business here!

I visited your location at 3501 N Military Hwy on October 13, 2025, and unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the level of service I received. I brought my vehicle in specifically because of a distinct noise I had been hearing, which I clearly described when I arrived. Despite explaining the issue in detail and even attempting to demonstrate the sound to help with the diagnosis, the technicians told me they couldn’t find anything wrong. What frustrated me even more was that I was still charged $20 for diagnostics, even though it seemed very little effort was made to thoroughly inspect or troubleshoot the problem. The entire experience gave the impression that no one took the time to properly listen or investigate. I felt dismissed and that my concerns were not taken seriously. The service advisor I dealt with was Ray D, and while he was polite, the overall attitude from the staff came across as indifferent and unprofessional. I expected a much higher level of care, attention, and diligence from this location. Unfortunately, this visit has completely undermined my confidence in your service, and I do not plan to return in the future.
