Enjoyed the Frontwave Arena while going there for the Zach Williams Revival Tour Oct 2025. I don't believe any seats are bass unless you're somehow behind the artist. The venue is not too large so you won't feel like you're in the nosebleed section anywhere. I walked around the whole arena on the main floor in about 5-6 minutes taking my time. It was pleasant there. The only negative drawback is their parking situation. First of all, it's ridiculously priced, $40 lot A close or $21 for dirt lot B, not that far away. Getting in and getting out is a madhouse and takes quite a bit of time. Expect to take 45 minutes to get out after an event. That's crazy, along with the parking prices. Minus 2 stars due to poor overall parking.
I finally got a chance to visit the new Frontwave Arena in Oceanside! I came out for Lisa Lisa's 40th Anniversary Can I Take You Home Tour. It's a great venue, especially to hold concerts and other events, but I would say the sound could use improvement. Better speakers and hsving them placed through the Arena would give it a full concert experience.
Always a fun time. Attended the Clippers vs Lions Game and had a blast. Excellent seats and honestly not a bad seat in the place. Parking was easy. The vibe was fun. I even enjoyed a souvenir cup soda with no refill. Happy 1st Birthday Frontwave!
New and beautiful facility. Difficult to find the seating section. The numbers were very confusing and they were very few people to give guidance. Seats were hard. Lights during the music concert were so bright and flashing toward the audience that we could hardly look at the stage. The stage lighting was so dark you couldn’t see any performer except the one in the front. I’m hoping this varies by event.? The sound bounced around. I don’t think the arena is made for music. I know it’s used for indoor soccer games and indoor football games . Parking was pretty rough. We paid $20 to park on dirt. I had to drive in slow motion just to get there and it took a long time to get out. One road in, one out. Two lanes wide done of the time. The arena only held 7500 people so it should not have been that bad. I wished I had taken the Sprinter and walked up from there. The Sprinter is only two dollars per adult. Can’t bring in a sealed water bottle, only an empty one but the water in Oceanside tastes bad so bring a flavoring. Buying water can be a $6 purchase. Only bring clear purses. Had trouble with ticket purchase, waited in a very long line to rectify. Many people had trouble with tickets. Could take 5 min/person to get help. Only 2 windows open. Employees were all nice.
I've been to Frontwave Arena twice, and both times I had a great time. The First time I went to the San Diego Soccer's game. My seats were excellent and they won that night, so it was fantastic. The second time was for a concert. It's a great place for a concert because there isn't a bad seat in the house. The drinks and food are pricey and the parking was expensive. I really recommend going to Fronteave Arena. I will keep my eye on the concerts coming up, because I want to go again.
I took mom to her first concert ever. We saw Ben Haggard open up singing his father Merle’s songs. The Mavericks came out in a flurry and rocked the house with their blend of English and Spanish influences and alone were worth the price of the tickets. But then Dwight Yoakum came on stage with an hour and a half set followed by an encore. The sound was clear and loud and left us feeling the music. The Frontwave has the best darn security of any venue I’ve ever been to, and we welcomed it. We felt SAFE. I had trouble getting through the crowd lined up on the sidewalk with mom in her wheelchair, so I was going to have her get out so I could walk on the street that was blocked from any moving traffic. Once I got mom to her feet, a security officer hustled over out of nowhere to help me. He had me get her back in the chair on the sidewalk and he walked in front of us, moving everyone to the left so we could pass on the right. We thanked everyone as we went! He walked us clear to end of the line and guided me to the ADA entrance. That entrance was a ramp that takes you directly to the walkway that circles the arena. This was also the ADA level seating for wheelchairs. I must say Frontwave takes real good care of their ADA visitors. There are even at least a couple if not a few Family Restrooms, but there are plenty of stalls in the full size restrooms. The way the arena is set up, every seat is a good seat. You can’t go wrong in a 7500 patron seating venue. There are several bars serving drinks and while the food is as expensive as unexpected (24 oz Modelo was $19!) I wasn’t there for the food. I was there to be entertained and my mother’s limitations respected. That all scored a 25+ on a scale of 1-10! If I had anything to complain about, it’d be the missing curtain. There are blackout curtains all around the arena on the entry level to block out the lights on concourse. From where we sat in Section 103-seats 13 and 14, our peripheral vision was attacked by blinding light from a higher level where they definitely need a blackout curtain. The arena is great and with the prices charged I am sure they can afford one more large blackout curtain where my attached photo shows how violent that light was. We did not appreciate that. Far as I’m concerned, we should get a courtesy voucher for that disturbing distraction. I’d appreciate a response from arena management about resolving that issue. New arena, new issues arise, but what will you do about it? Anything? It’d only be right. We did not go to the outside tables at the large bar seen in video, but maybe next time. We will definitely be back. I’ll just try to avoid section 103 at all costs. Our next event will be in October. Already bought the tickets. Section 113 this time. Yeah Buddy!
Nice cozy arena, but parking could have been designed and managed way better. Cars backed up for a long way for such a small arena. Took 45 minutes sitting in a slow moving line just to get parked, then 30 more minutes to get out of the parking lot with cars darting all over to find the quickest exit. Quick getting inside the venue once in line for security.
