I purchased a new monitor through the best buy app a Samsung g9 oled that was 1000 dollars and had my wife pick it up. When I got home and saw the box the box was retaped, the cable bags had already been ripped open and the monitor looked use. The wrap on the screen looked like it had been taken off before. I hooked the monitor up and the screen was damaged. My guess its that they took the display unit and put it back in its box ans sold it to me as a new unit. I called the store and told me there was nothing they could do and id just have to go return it and get a new one. Im one hour and 30 min away from the store. I asked for compensation and they told me there waa nothing they could do. I think they should fix their mistake since they took a used monitor and sold it to me as new. The guy also said just come in the store and get a replacement. My question is they took a display unit and sold it to me as a new one when they had new units. NOT RiGHT! They guy i talked to also refused to get his manager on the phone

On 10/08/2025 I was looking for a new desktop computer. I was helped by Rachel & Carson; and they provided me with outstanding service. They were friendly, professional, knowledgeable, courteous and very patient. They are a very positive credit to your store. I wanted to thank them for their help. Mike Larson

My experience with Best Buy's refund process was incredibly frustrating and demonstrated a severe lack of corporate support. After returning a TV in late July, I waited a week for my refund. An online agent told me there was a "glitch" and advised me to visit the store where I bought my TV. While the store team was sympathetic, they were unable to resolve the issue, simply stating, "it's one of those things" and giving me the store manager's business card. I waited for a few more weeks, and with no refund in sight, I contacted the store manager Glaser directly, but received no reply at all. I then spoke with another online agent who gave me a case number and advised me to call their phone support. Their agents were equally unhelpful. I was disconnected twice, and the second agent told me to return to the store where I bought my TV, completely ignoring the fact that I had already done so, even after I told them. It was not until a different agent helped me that the refund was finally processed. Ultimately, it took over six weeks to receive my money. This stands in stark contrast to other major retailers like Walmart, Target, and Amazon, who handle refunds promptly and efficiently. The entire experience was a clear failure of their customer service system and a perfect example of why the company's reputation is suffering.

I preordered a console for in person, midnight release pick up at this location. When I arrived, there were two lines. One line for those who had preordered, and one line for those who hadn’t preordered and were hoping to purchase in store. For reasons beyond any reasonable person’s level of sense, the store allowed 3 people from each line, each time they allowed people in to purchase. WHY on earth would they not prioritize the people who preordered? Why would they not go through the preorder line first, then service the non-preorder line? Many of those who preordered, including myself, had to stand in line for almost two hours while we watched people who just showed up without a preorder, walk out of the store with consoles in tow. Who thought this was a good idea? It’s not "fair" or "equitable" to do it this way. It just screws over the people who prepared and planned, and rewards those who procrastinated and showed up the day of. I’m all for as many people getting the consoles as possible, but this was the worst possible way to handle a midnight release. In the future, all midnight releases should prioritize or be entirely limited to those who have a confirmed preorder. If they’re not, it defeats the whole purpose and is super lame and inconvenient.
