Rockbrook Camera

Super impressed with the customer service of this company!! If I lived in Nebraska, it would be the only camera store I’d work with! I live in Minnesota and I had a Nikon ZR on back order with B&H. I saw Rockbrook had the camera in stock, so I cancelled my order with B&H and bought from Rockbrook. What impressed me is their clear belief in customer service and having personal communication with their customers. In today’s world you constantly deal with chat bots and automated emails, which just create extra steps to get information/answers (and just feels so impersonal). With Rockbrook though, they PERSONALLY emailed me (not a bot or chat gpt scripted)right away after I ordered, confirming they had my order and when it would be shipped. And then this morning I received a call from someone at the store to once again confirm my order and let me know it was on the way. It’s silly that true customer service feels surprising to receive, but I appreciate how Rockbrook is operating! (Btw, this isn’t a boomer review who hates AI and technology, I’m 30 lol)

I love Rockbrook Camera! Over the past couple of years I have bought a camera and many rolls of film from them. They also develop my film to a high standard and in a timely manner. They also give me photography advice when I ask, and they are very friendly.

After many experiences at Rockbrook Camera (because unfortunately, there aren't really any other options in Omaha), I have to say that I truly wish there were other options than Rockbrook. Every single time I come in or call, everyone speaks to me incredibly rudely and like because I'm a young, female photographer that doesn't fit the old school structure of a photographer, I feel like they treat me, look at me, and talk to me like I'm dumb as bricks. I've been a photographer for 10 years and know what I'm talking about. But even if I do have a question, they are so rude, short, and unwelcoming (which is also crazy considering how many workshops and educational opportunities they have). I love to support local, but due to the rudeness, snobiness, and just overall bad attitudes I've had over the 10+ experiences I've had here, I'll resort to supporting other businesses over this one.

Sales man was rude, rated my NEW camera 2 and 3 stars because he says they have a lot of Canon Rebel t7 rated both lens 2 and 3s also because he says they have alot in stock already. Only wanted to give me 200 total in trade value. ( One of my lens was worth 70 dollars trade in value alone!) He showed me himself!! But said he was going to give me 15 dollars smh.

Rented a camera from them this weekend for a mounted shooting event, and it was perfect! Im looking to upgrade my gear, so getting to rent different cameras to find what I like best is awesome. All the staff was super nice and helpful. I will definitely be back to rent more in the future!

Best camera buying experience!! My husband wanted to get me a camera for Mother’s Day. I’ll be honest, I didn’t quite know what I wanted nor do I have a lot of knowledge on cameras. After talking with Kevin for a bit, he helped me find the perfect camera set up for this mom on the go!! Thanks Rockbrook and Kevin for the great experience!
