Elan Solar is not trustworthy. Please save yourself from these scammers; refrain from signing any documents. They employ deceptive tactics to obtain your signature and then become unavailable.. We entered into the contract in November 2021, and as of today, August 16, 2022, the solar panels have yet to be installed, and there has been no communication regarding their status. Furthermore, our credit card continues to be charged for the panels that are not yet operational. Additionally, it appears that our sales agent, Michael, misrepresented the situation to secure our signature on the contract. We were informed that we would realize cost savings by switching to solar energy; however, after the contract was finalized, we discovered that our payments would, in fact, be double what we are currently paying Rocky Mountain. Despite escalating this matter to management, no action has been taken. It seems that the information provided was not accurate, and the primary objective appears to be financial gain. Above is the original review I posted three years ago. I had removed my comment because the new management contacted my husband and offered a refund for the charges incurred before the panel installation, but only under the condition that I delete my review. We informed them that I had deleted the review, yet we never received the promised refund. I had a lengthy discussion with the owner, during which I expressed our disappointment, but unfortunately, she was primarily focused on disputing my account of events. Therefore, I am here today, reposting my honest review, reflecting my current sentiments regarding this company.

This company is an absolute joke. I was waiting for a reimbursement check since 2022. Every time I called there was always a new excuse. I originally left them a negative review because of the la know communication and that ended up voiding my reimbursement and I wasn’t told anything until I called. After a while they were under new management and I called once a month and there was the same excuse. (They’re trying to get everyone installed first) I have screenshots of emails of them saying they were going to honor my reimbursement. Eventually when I called it wouldn’t even go through anymore. I saw on KSL news on Facebook that the business went under and that the owner had a lawsuit. This is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. 100% regret spending my money with these clowns. They don’t care about their customers at all. I would highly recommend you look elsewhere for solar. If I could give these guys a negative star I would. I hope this company gets what’s coming to them for deceiving their customers.

We loved our Elan Solar salesman; we priced solar options with three different companies and the Elan rep was awesome. No complaints about him. And the Elan pricing was competitive. UPDATED: Recently our entire system stopped working. It took a while to get a response from Elan, but once I got through to someone, she put me on the schedule immediately. I also received a call from the company’s owner, Kevin, stating that he would do everything in his power to make things right for us. I really appreciated his honesty and willingness to get our system working. Elan came and serviced our system, and in a very short time, we are now up and running perfectly.

Elan is one of the most honest and straightforward solar companies around. We asked them every question imaginable and they were honest and upfront about everything. It is very clear to me that they really want the best result for their customers. They weren't pushy in any way. The pricing and interest rates are very reasonable. We had a great experience with these guys.

Every time I sign a contract I’m terrified if the products are going to be worth it, especially when you look at the reviews. But with all honesty getting my solar panels with Elan has been a good decision. The prices are very low and the professionalism in the company is beyond. Every time I contact them they always reply and help me with any inquiries I have. The customer support is always finding a way to help me, Brittany and Hazel. I remember that once the project was completed Patricia contacted me to know the quality of service.

GOOD COMPANY! We got many bids from many companies for solar. No bid came close to the offer elan provided us with! Our salesmen, Kevin was also very easygoing and was able to really give us the best idea on if solar was for us. I have had my system for 2 weeks now. Works very well and is protected with a 25 year warranty! Excited to see the savings come in!

We’ve been paying for our panels for over a year and they still don’t work. Elan went radio silent for almost 6 months, ignoring all emails and phone calls, and didn’t respond until we threatened to sue. They still haven’t communicated when our system will be working, and we are still paying for something that doesn’t work, 16 months later. Their techs and customer service don’t communicate with each other, let alone their customers (literally every person who I talk to has a different idea of what needs to happen with our system, from just flipping a switch, to needing to be completely replaced) They recently had a case opened against them by the Utah Division of Consumer Protections, and according to the agent who spoke with us, this isn’t the first time. Avoid Elan Solar at all costs.
