Energy Plus Solar

I received bids from 5 installers. They all came to my house. They looked at the property and gave me their proposals. Without question, Eric provided an installation plan that included 2 Powerwalls, 20 solar panels, that was cost effective, and had the highest energy yield compared to the other proposed systems. Their follow-up service has been great! We are now happily off grid when we need to be.

I brought Eric my, practically, impossible project and he said no problem. I didn't have the best experience with another solar company so I was hesitant but he kept his word throughout the process and completed the job as promised. He and his crew were knowledgeable and professional. They're a smaller independent company that actually cares about their craft in a sea of sub-sub-sub-contractor solar companies. I highly recommend them.

So we went with Sunpower. High quality panels, so so battery. Eric and his team installed everything on our house very professionally. Once the ball was rolling everything fell into place quickly. Permits are another thing, no fault of his just be prepared for very picky city & county permits. Thank god we live close to Eric & his shop, he always came over & fixed any bugs that needed fixing. I hope he stays in the solar business for a long time because without him I think our service would be a nightmare. Thanks Eric for helping us out & hope the help continues into the future.

Since I have had the solar panels put in - my electric bill has been cut by an average of 80% and at times even more. Obviously summer months is a different story but they are still extremely helpful. The panels will pay for themselves within 6-7 years. Going with a reputable company like Energy Plus is definitely the way to go. Eric is a great person to work with. He is honest and will not overcharge for his service. Also if you do your research you will find that Energy Plus has the best solar panels on the market. He installed SunPower panels for us. Right now is a great time to buy since the federal government is offering a 30% tax credit. If you are going to live in your home for over 10 years - solar is worth getting. You can do your research but at the end, you will find that Energy Plus and Eric are the company to go with.

So far we are pleased with our experience choosing SunPower by Energy Plus Solar. I give top marks for the sales, installation, ease of total process, and performance so far. System was installed and turned on in early Dec 2018. Four months later and it looks like we are on track to meet our 100% of our production needs by the end of the year. I got multiple phone quotes, and two in person. Energy Plus was more expensive, but I felt it was the right choice given the quality of the SunPower panels. I should have a complete return on investment in ~7 years. Everyone we dealt with were professional and informative. Low pressure sales so I could take my time making an informed decision. They made it easy - just pay and forget. Installation was very clean and looks nice on my roof. If you have been on the fence about solar do it now before the rebates go away!

Erik is fantastic! He drove all the way out to help fix an issue we were having with a previous system. He was responsive and got the answers we needed almost right away! If you are considering using Energy Plus Solar you will not regret it.

I have a new build home that is undern2 years old. I live in California and solar is a requirement for all new homes. My builder uses Sunpower for their solar panels so I bought through sunpower because that was the only option given to me. My solar panels are under 2 years old. I bought them , not leased. My panels have not been working for idk how long now. I've been paying for my full electricity bill because my panels are not properly functioning. I've been waiting 2 weeks for someone to come look at the panels to fix them. Today I was told that I might be charged for anything wrong with them. These panels are not even 2 years old , they should be completely 100% covered under warranty . I should not have to come out of pocket at all for anything that is wrong with them for at least 10 years. Now I have to wait another week for the company to Call me back to schedule someone to come out after already waiting 2 weeks for this. I want money refunded to me for electric charges that I've been paying while my panels are not functioning. As a company with system monitoring of the panels, I should not be responsible for calling if they are not working. The company should be automatically alerted. Or the app that I use should be alerting me. Terrible handling and if I could I would go with a different solar company.
