Superior Plus Propane

I noticed this company has been getting pretty well hammered with bad reviews so I felt necessary to share my experience and say that they have not been all that bad with me. I resumed service on a new house, they came and checked lines, one line had a leak, The service man on hand repaired it (thank you). They came back again and swapped old tanks with new and automatically scheduled a fill service for them. I have spoken on the phone with their customer service reps a few times now and each time they have been very pleasant and easy to talk to. The wait time is usually a few minutes to connect with someone but that is really not an issue. If something changes I will revise my review but they have done a nice job overall for me. Dont be scared of the reviews altogether like i was when i first saw them!

Bad, bad bad!!! delivered propane to my tank without my authorization. I did not place any order, was not contacted for scheduling, and have never signed up for automatic delivery or "keep full" service. Also they charge me extra fee calls "Hazmat Fee" and"Fuel Recovery Fee" is these fee legal?

We have been dealing with Freeman Gas for many years and my family has used them even longer Since Superior Plus has taken over the company has changed in a negative way. We only use propane for cooking so we dont use very much gas. Got a bill today for $171.00 because we do not use enough propane. When we complained to Superior Plus corporate we we're told "If you dont like it , we will come get the tank." The tank just left our driveway on the back of a truck and a locally owned company will get our business. It's sad to see the Freeman name ruined because of corporate greed. The only reason I didn't leave 0 stars is because I could not.

Absolutely ridiculous that I was not informed that any leak test would be needed when I called to order a refill. I specifically said my tank was at 0% when I called and I was not informed that someone would need to be home for the leak test to be completed. I have now went the entire weekend without hot water or the ability to use my stove due to the failure of someone doing their job.

Worst company I have ever dealt with. I wish I could give them a negative srar review. I ordered propane a week ago and when I received the delivery they turned the tank off and said no one was here because they didn't want to come up the driveway, although I was home all day. I called customer service to see why none of my appliances or furnace was working and 2 reps hung up on me.

Was on hold for over 40 minutes just to talk to someone in customers service and know I am currently searching for another company to service my propane needs

TERRIBLE. It is almost impossible to talk to anyone, all I wish to do is pay a bill (and I notice I have not been given credit for a payment in December. ) I had the same issues when it was Quarles years ago. I wish Dixie had not sold out. I am now locked out of my account as they do not accept my verified information. Now I see this site is refusing to post this negative review.
