This place is THE BEST. Period. I bought the new iPhone 15 pro max a couple months ago and out of nowhere had issues with my screen no longer working in certain areas (due to no clear cause…) I called Apple to see if my limited warranty covered the issue and i was told it may or may not be until an authorized apple rep took a look at it first hand. I live in monroe (hour and a half away) from any Apple Store and was hesitant to mail my device in. I was told if the warranty didn’t cover my issue, it could be a $650 charge! Let me tell you this, i waited a couple of weeks before sending my device off (it still "sort of worked") but i thought i didn’t want to risk being without my phone for a week (HAVE to have it for work purposes) and i was passing through Shreveport today and popped by to this authorized retailer to check and see if i had any other options. The receptionist, Justin, was super friendly greeting me. Chris, a technician i believe, took a look at my phone and quickly did a full inspection and told me it would be complete at no charge within a couple of hours! The job was completed perfectly, in record time (maybe just over an hour) and delivered back to me by Jason. I can’t thank this team enough for making my stressful week that much easier. They gave me incredible value, they’re professional, the facility is super clean and comfortable. I would 10/10 prefer this than waiting in line in another town to speak to one of dozens behind a "genius bar" counter at a typical Apple Store. If you have any Mac/apple devices go here. This team is the real deal. Easy to work with. I will drive back out from monroe if i ever have issues in the future. Thomas, you’re doing a great job with these guys. Thanks again.

My screen blacked out randomly, I took it here and was told there was nothing they could do and suggested I buy a whole new display which run about $800. A couple weeks later I find out from TikTok that all it needed was a SMC reset (holding down additional keys when restarting). Definitely tried to take advantage of a full time student and wasted my time & money thanks. In response to the owner: To further clarify any misinformation, my device was in fact booting (touch bar, keyboard, audio all working and powering on and off normally) except for the display alone. To state that it was returned to me fully functional is arguable as the screen was in fact, dim, flickering, and hanging on for dear life just to die once again as soon as I left the shop. Not sure a simple SMC reset would magically revive a MacBook that "wasn’t booting when powered on" when your equipment couldn’t. Nonetheless, I’ve had no issues with my display since the simple SMC reset, no flickering or display booting issues, let’s not skew details. Once again, a waste of time & money.

I’ve had a number of Apple products serviced with Maccentric over the years (laptop, desktop, and iPhones). I used a MacBook Pro for my job and eventually needed to upgrade the storage and RAM. That made an huge difference and kept me from needing a new laptop. After over 12 years on the same machine, I needed a new battery. The replacement was handled quickly and gave me another few years of life. After just shy of 15 years, I had to replace it with another laptop. They provided guidance and answered some of my questions about options and differences in the various models of MacBooks—even though they would not profit at all, as they are not a retailer. After buying a new machine, Maccentric handled the data migration for me and I got my laptop back in less than 24 hours. Superior service, impeccable work.

I had an issue with my Macbook keyboard and found that this town has no Apple Store. No worries - I was able to register an appointment with Maccentric via the Apple site. When I arrived, I was pleased to see Maccentric is in an upscale little strip mall with free parking and had a very clean, minimalist lobby - similar to an Apple Store. The woman at the counter was receptive, efficient and had me out the door in less that 10 minutes or so. I was told my repair would take 3-4 days. On the fourth day I received a text indicating the work was complete. I went to pick up my laptop, with a brand new keyboard (top case) and paid zero because it was under warranty. Overall, this was a pleasant experience that met all my expectations. As you can see, my computer now works like new.

Had a horrible experience with Maccentric and Thomas the owner. My 91 year old Mom who was locked out of her iphone went in for recovery of the phone. She was charged $250 for the service and was told she must pay in advance and bring phone back later for the work to be completed. In the meantime I, her daughter, was able to take her to the Apple store in Baton Rouge where they fixed it in less than 1/2 hour for free. When I approached Maccentric for a partial refund since work would never need to be completed on their end, my request was denied flat out. So my Mom was charged in full, in advance, and work was not done by Maccentric yet they are keeping the full $271. charged on her card. So much for professionalism and doing the right thing.

I highly recommend Maccentric for all your Apple products. I have used their services since 2013. I purchased an iMac. Maccentric migrated my data from an ailing Dell desktop and I was up and running. Many years later, my iMac needed a Hard Drive update from the old mechanical one to SSD. They literally made my iMac run better than new. I have had many great years of use but finally have updated to the new M4 iMac. I called Maccentric to get some guidance from Thomas on the Specs. He was very kind and helpful. I am extremely pleased with my new iMac and appreciate that Thomas migrated my data and once again got me up and running in no time. Maccentric also helped me with my iPhone and iPad. I cracked my iPhone glass and they took care of replacing it with my Apple Care warranty. We are very lucky to have an outstanding Apple service provider in our area.

Took my iPhone 15 plus to this store November 5, 2024 for repairs phone delivered back to store November 15, 2024. Thomas claims the phone never got back to him. I have the tracking screenshot that it was delivered back to him although AT&T CSR said his establishment is not on their list (AT&T) as an authorized dealer. So now I’m stuck paying for a phone that he received but I’m using a replacement phone that can’t be added to my account unless I want my number block listed. Yes he replaced the phone but this phone is not on my installment plan so I’m paying for a phone that he has in his possession. The only reason I’m just knowing this phone isn’t my original phone is because my daughter had an issue with the phone he replaced and the IMEI is different. So why give me another phone if you got her phone back. I’m gonna have to take him to small claims because I’m stuck paying for a phone I don’t have.
