2 Friends and a Truck Moving & Storage Company

This was a last minute move, so we appreciated their availability. They also let us know they were running late. However, they damaged nearly every piece of furniture they touched. They responded to a previous review claiming we damaged our own furniture by helping. We moved our boxes, clothes, etc and hired 2 Friends to move the furniture. When they started stacking furniture in the apartment we helped with some lighter pieces, but the pics are of heavy pieces they carried up and damaged. Cannot recommend them, please do your homework before calling them.

I made a mistake and recommended them to move for a friend (old lady) and they highly disappointed me they were veryyyy slow and took their sweet time since they know it’s hourly they were even driving unloaded below 15 mile per hour going back for the second load . Charged her for extra gas and additional charges that were not agreed upon in advance so they basically took advantage of the old lady and charged her around $1000 for a two bed 1 living room house. Again highly disappointed and I would never recommend for anyone I know .

DO NOT CHOOSE THIS COMPANY! Save yourself a headache and seek for a professional moving company I assure you it’s not worth it! I am extremely disappointed and unsatisfied with the recent move conducted by this company. The movers showed up late and without the necessary tools to disassemble my furniture, forcing me to call my ex for assistance. As a result, they broke my vanity due to their inability to properly dismantle it. The move took six hours because they were unprepared and worked very slowly (which I believe they do it on purpose so they can get pay more since you an hourly rate). Despite this, the responsible people (Tara Joyce) and (TAWERGHI MOHAME) from The company have been unhelpful, claiming that the breakage wasn't the movers' fault based on a conversation with my ex, who confirmed that the lack of tools was indeed the issue. The company has repeatedly rescheduled attempts to fix the vanity without notifying me in advance, requiring me to follow up each time. Phillip Barnett, one of the movers, has only advised me to speak with Tara, stating that he has no authority to address the issue without permission. Additionally, the company refuses to prioritize scheduling the repair of my vanity, continuing to schedule other moves instead. I was offered a negligible insurance payout of about $25 for the damages, while the repair will actually cost around $200 for a vanity worth $2,500. If I were scheduling a new move, they would have prioritized it immediately. Given that I have already paid the excessive amount requested, even though the service was delayed due to the movers' lack of preparation. In my last conversation with Tara, she refused to fix the issue or refund any money. I ended up paying the excessive amount they charged, and they still didn’t repair my vanity. Honestly, they are by far the worst moving company I’ve ever dealt with.

This company is not PROFESSIONAL AT ALL!! They are scammers!! They ruined my furniture, broke and scratched some of my furniture. I took pictures of everything and sent it to them and they were supposed to come back and fix everything that they messed up but now they are deciding to ignore my messages and calls. I keep calling and messaging Mohammad but he isn’t answering me. I called him from a different number and he answered and when he knew it was me he said I will come and look at the furniture and I will fix everything. Ever since that day I never heard from him. He uses a different company truck name like U-Haul to come and move your furniture when he’s only suppose to be using only his business moving truck, which is sooo small. All his workers that he brought with him ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL! His workers kept complaining to us saying don’t ever move again! I been very patient with him and tried to work this out but he decided not to fix the problem. He stated that he will send me his work insurance so I can send the insurance everything that they messed up but he never did. He picks up random workers from home depot parking lot to come help him. Also, before the move we had an agreement of how much he wanted me to pay and after they moved everything he charged me an extra $1,000 for nothing. Hasbi Allah wa na3mal el Wakeel. Once he knows that he screwed you over he will block you and ignore ur messages and calls. My mistake was not reading his reviews. I trusted him. When he comes to you to talk about pricing he acts like he’s very friendly and a very honest person but, I can tell you that he is a scammer and not a trustworthy person. PLEASE READ ALL THE REVIEWS HIS OTHER CUSTOMERS ARE WRITING ABOUT HIM! He charged me $200 an hr when him and his random workers were moving sooo slow and kept taking breaks!! The move was only suppose to take 5hrs but because they were moving so slow he charged me for 10hrs plus extra fees. Now I have no choice but to take Mohammad to court.

We hired the company for our move in late May. While packing up the king bed frame, one of the movers dropped it and snapped a support leg off. He tried to rig with just tape, but the frame is so heavy it became unusable as a frame. The bed only has four legs so it was a total loss. Additionally at the new house, items were left covered in plastic wrap and moving sheets. The same guy knocked over a closed bucket of paint causing it to spill on the garage floor. Their customer service was not helpful at all in trying to get compensation for the damaged items. We were told we could choose between a paltry discount or file a claim. I chose a claim, but was not told it was not their insurance carrier but rather a third party that you cannot speak with that only processes the paperwork and the moving company pays anyway. All in all a horrible experience. Do not hire this company for your move.

I recently hired 2/3 Friends and a Truck for help packing up my 1-bedroom/1-bath apartment and storage unit, and I couldn't be more impressed! I hired two packers for two hours, and not only did they complete everything I needed, but they also tackled extra tasks with incredible efficiency. First, they packed up my entire storage unit and moved everything out, organizing it strategically to make the next day's move as smooth as possible--all in just 35-45 minutes! Then, they moved on to my apartment, where they completely packed up my large bedroom closet (which was filled with way more than just clothes) and my entire bathroom from start to finish. On top of that, they even helped pack parts of the kitchen, carefully wrapping glassware and ensuring everything was secure in the appropriate-sized boxes. What truly stood out was their time management--they worked so efficiently that I started giving them tasks I had originally planned to do myself, assuming there wouldn't be enough time. They collaborated seamlessly but also worked independently when needed--one tackled the closet while the other focused on the bathroom--making the process stress-free for me. Beyond their skill, they were personable, kind, and incredibly professional. They alleviated so much of my moving stress and turned what could have been a chaotic experience into the best moving/packing experience I've ever had. If it's within your budget, I highly recommend 2/3 Friends and a Truck--absolutely worth every penny!

I would use another company. They quoted me for 3 hour move and it ended up taking them well over the time. They hire workers who are super slow and lazy. They stopped to take lunch 2 hours which is fine but they wanted me to pay for those house at 125 an hour lol. They ended up quoting me double and tried to hold my stuff hostage until I paid in full. Do not use these guys go elsewhere.
