Les Schwab Tire Center

My spouse and I had been here for a tire rotation before, but nothing more. Recently, our car failed to start on two consecutive days and we had to call AAA. The driver tested the battery on the first occasion and assured us it was fine, and then suggested after the second trip that maybe it was an alternator problem. We were skeptical about that, and decided to hightail it over to Les Schwab after our second jump-start. We called ahead, and they said they weren't busy and could take us right in. After parking our car and heading for the door, we encountered Austin in the parking lot, who said hello and asked how we were doing. His greeting was apparently genuine because he proceeded to attentively listen to us take a few minutes to vent about our car woes and how we had been having a bad week. He said, "Sorry to hear that. We'll take care of you." We felt better already! We sat in the pleasant outdoor seating area as Ryan installed a new battery. In short order, and for a very reasonable price, our car was ready to hit the road again. Ryan reassured us that it was highly unlikely there was a problem with the alternator, and we were on our way, pleased with the service and personal attention we received. Our car has been humming along ever since.

If I could give a bonus star I would I showed up at 5pm for a flat repair. They took my car right away. After a quick inspection they told me my tread was almost gone and gave me a printed quote. I said I had already ordered some and so they left me with the quote and went back to fixing the tire. While waiting I decided to look more closely at the quote and decided to cancel my order (which had been placed with another vendor). By then it was about 530 and they finished patching my tire. I asked if they had the tires on the quote in stock and if they could install them. They looked it up and said yes. I really appreciated that they didn't try to get me to come back another time for the installation since they close at 6. Wonderful, friendly, non-pushy service. Highly recommend and would definitely come here again.

The customer service here is wonderful. Ryan was incredibly thorough in explaining to me exactly what maintenance my car needed. I appreciated his honesty, especially. They were able to get me in for a same-day appointment, and were very efficient. I’m so glad I bought tires here!

I hit a huge pothole and not only flattened my tires but damaged my wheels. As someone that's not particularly good at dealing with these types of situations, they made it so much less stressful. They were very open and communicative about every step of the process and didn't make any decisions without my saying so. I went through my insurance for it and just in the process of doing it that way, I had my car there for over a week. So I talked to probably everyone that worked there at some point but every single one was so patient and respectful. They looked at more than the wheels in the process and ended up getting more done. But let me tell you when I got my car back, it's like driving a new car! I had noticed for a while my car was getting loud but it's a smooth and quiet ride now! With everything they did to it, it cost me about four grand which is more than I'd like to pay for anything, but they did a lot of work to it and I'm confident my car is much safer to drive now.

As a rule I wouldn't "review" Les Schawb. However this location have earned my trust and loyalty. I recently found myself in need of a battery, it was near closing time, they inspected the vehicle, explained the issue and informed me of how long it would take them, I agreed and they took care of it, fortunately for me I didn't have to cancel my medical procedure at 6 am the next day. Thanks guys

I am a Les Schwab girl born and bred, born and raised in Bend, knew his grand daughter and friends and parts of the family. When they sold the business I remember feeling worried. He was a legacy... stand up guy. Oh I remember the les schwab meat days... those were some of the best dang times. Him giving away extra, or giving you the best pepperoni or jerkey you would ever have just because he liked you. You would pull up and someone would already be holding the door open for you treating you with the utmost respect... and the respect went back to the workers. He knew how things went round... in turn made better workers. Helping eachothet makes us all feel better inside... Happy people like to buy thing and Happy works will work hard for you... People like him are very few and far between, specially now. I found the further you got away from home base of Pineville and central Oregon. The service just wasn't always as great, I get everyone has there things going on. But you know people are already having crummy day if they have to come to les schwab or mechanic shop of any kind, not always about buying new tires... and to be handled in such a disrespectful or grumpy tone is the last dang thing you want to deal with... Bedside manner is a big deal, and seriously lacking in todays world... How I was treated today is what he intended the business to be like... Help when you can, dont nickle and dime people. Don't sell them something they cant afford or dont need just to make a profit, dont hustle them help them! Have variety available for lower price bracket, middle and higher end depending on what you were looking for... But It was a simple screw in my tire. Luckily the new car we baught has tire pressure sensors and seem it going down to the 20s and well all the construction going on in the area got us... it is our fist car that is less than 4 years old so this acadia was a big deal for us when we baught it last year... we are so grateful... we finally got a decent family vehicle. So like most of us pur cars mean a great deal for a variety of reasons... lol we finally got a bunch of bells and whistles we weren't used to lol. I wasn't sure if they were even les schwab tires... we got ao excited everytime we would figure out something new the car did lol... sorry I love to write lol should have written books for a living... regardless dropped it off thinking it was going to be a couple hours, headed towards camas to go get a moose tracks from Devs coffee, if you like peanut butter and you havnt had one go right now!!! camas one is the best location... and to hit some yard sales untill it was done and littleraly got coffee and got text 20 mins after we leave I get a message that our car is ready... Im thinking oh I hope there wasn't something wrong that was quick. Get back get my purse out ready to pay, she says acadia right... yep... and she says nope its on us today... just when you get new tires come back lol. I said omg thank you so much and of course I will! I didnt tell her I have been a Les schwab fan for a very very long time. I dont go anywhere else. I have moved Les schwabs a couple times due to moving and all that.. But I think I found my new Home base Les schwabs in Vancouver. For me thats a big deal... Definitely a great place

refused to patch tire after I had left vehicle with them for hours because they were so interested in selling me new tires, I explained that I would not buy new tires at a washington location because of the sales tax and they forced me to drive back over the river on the freeway with a tire that had a screw in it because they refused to patch it even though the screw was right in the middle of the tire. I will never purchase tires from les schwab again, you can't trust them.
