SummerHouse is an excellent place to live. I’ve lived here for 7yrs & wouldn’t change a thing about it @ all. The location is great just a block & 1/2 from the oceanfront & great shops as well. The staff here is excellent from (Carly - the Community Mgr., Alicia - the Asst., Jerry - leasing agent, Rescha - Housekeeper, J.D -Groundsman., Noel - Maintenance Mgr, Goldie - Maintenance Asst.) you couldn’t ask for a greater group of individuals than this group. They take the time to know all their residents. They put together community events so everyone gets to meet each other & it’s held in the courtyard/pool area & club room, which is the eye catching part of the property. The staff is very attentive on getting/pleasing all the residents with anything in means of the property & they also go beyond with some personal touches as well. Overall just a great place & great staff you’ll be looking for in an apt. community! C’mon what are you waiting for for?!

Summerhouse Apartments has been my home since 2018. It has a great location, the best staff, and proximity to so many amazing restaurants. They are in the process of a renovation that will bring the hallways up to date, so my only complaint (the choice of white carpet tiles was ill-advised), is soon to be rectified. Parking is secured as is the building’s entrance making it safe and relatively crime-free. The cost is reasonable and repairs are made quickly and efficiently. Love this place!

Tanglewood Lakes in Elizabeth City NC is amazing! I’ve been here a year now and the staff has exceeded my expectations. Maintenance is prompt and always answers any questions I have. It’s nice to be in a quiet community where you feel at home. My baby Cash loves the lake which sold me on Tanglewood. Thank you my Tanglewood family!!

I’ve really enjoyed living at The Devon Apartments! The property is always well-kept and the management team is friendly, professional, and quick to respond whenever I have a question or request. What really stands out is the maintenance crew — they’re absolutely fantastic. Every time I’ve needed something fixed, they’ve arrived promptly, handled the issue efficiently, and always with a great attitude. It’s clear they take pride in their work and genuinely care about keeping the community in top shape. Overall, The Devon is a great place to call home. The apartments are comfortable, the grounds are clean, and the staff makes you feel valued as a resident. Highly recommend!

I've lived at Coastal 61 for a while now. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking. We are less than a minute from I-64, and the Norfolk Outlets. Six minutes from Little Creek/Ft. Story JEB. Its a great community with awesome neighbors. The staff is also one of a kind. Our maintenance staff members, Dan, Frank, and Yadira are quick to help with any issue and do a wonderful job of keeping the property in great shape. Our Office staff of Lindsey, Trey, and Kamyle are friendly, welcoming, and willing to solve any issues that may arise. Its a wonderful and peaceful place to live!

A Wonderful Home for My Mom My senior mother has been living at The Arbors on Hull St for some time now, and I couldn’t be happier with the care and attention she receives there. From the moment we moved her in, the staff made the transition easy and welcoming. They truly treat residents like family and are always patient, kind, and attentive to her needs. The community itself is beautiful and peaceful — very well-kept with lovely landscaping and clean common areas. My mom loves her apartment and feels completely at home. It’s the perfect balance of independence and community, and I always feel comfortable knowing she’s in a safe, friendly environment. Communication with management is excellent, and any maintenance requests are handled promptly and professionally. It’s clear that the staff genuinely care about their residents’ well-being. I’m so grateful we found The Arbors on Hull St. Knowing my mom is happy, comfortable, and cared for gives me so much peace of mind. I can’t recommend this community highly enough!

I'm been living at Southern pines for 6 months now and it's been a great experience. The staff is friendly, responsive and helpful which made the leasing process smooth and stress free. The apartment itself is spacious well maintained and thoughtfully designed. The amenities like the swimming pool, fitness center and bowling alley are a big plus and kept in great condition. The maintenance team are prompt, friendly and responsive to our needs. Anytime we have submitted a request it's been handled quickly, often with 24 hours and done right the first time. Overall we are very happy living here.
