OMG this system sucks! You can be taking a nice hot shower and all of a sudden. FOR NO REASON, the water gets ice cold! Doing the dishes and if you don't have the water as hot as it can go ( which is a little tough on the hands) all of a sudden it gets icy cold! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!!!

Viessman service tech is excellent, hard working , knowledgeable, and on time. Great guy to work with on project.

Bought a house with a 3-year old Viessman boiler Vitodent 200 and it has been nothing but trouble. Parts take MONTHS to arrive from Germany. I would NOT recommend this product to anyone. Waste of money and time.

I had problems for the first two years I owned my 222-F, but I'm coming to realize that these problems likely came from an unqualified installer. Viessmann corporation bent over backwards to make sure that I was taken care of properly, and I appreciate that. I still say that, if I had it all to do again, I might buy two discrete units; one for heat and one for hot water. The plus side is that I have a well designed unit that is far more efficient than having two discrete units. My gas bill is far lower than the average and "efficient" reference-lines on the chart the gas company sends me.

I have (2) 6 year old Viessmann boilers in my home in Massachusetts. They have been a giant headache since I moved into my newly constructed home 6 years ago. I have had significant parts fail and have required a good number of expensive repairs on both boiler's. Viessmann refuses to warranty or assist me with any of the labor or parts. I've been working with my AWESOME HVAC company trying to get SOME kind of reimbursement from Viessmann, but they refuse to help. I purchased 2 of these boilers for redundancy and they have both broken on me in the middle of the winter at different times and both with extensive and expensive issues. I purchased then for the reliability, name and efficiency and honestly they are not worth the significant amount of extra money that I spent. The Rep for Massachusetts is not helpful and will not give me any reimbursement for any of the labor required to fix these boilers. I do not recommend Viessman boilers for domestic use as there are other less expensive and more reliable boilers on the market with better warranties. I will not buy a Viessman boiler again and would not recommend the to any clients.

We purchased a Viessmann Vitodens 222 Boiler in 2015 and started having things break on it in the first year. Although we maintain it religiously, it consistently throws errors, trips and we wake up without heat/hot water. Additionally, the repairs for this unit have cost us several thousands of dollars and we are now out of warranty by a year. We just spent 5 days without heat or hot water over Thanksgiving weekend due to the latest problem. This is most definitely a purchase that I regret and would never recommend this product to anyone, it is completely unreliable. Our old inefficient boiler never broke down and was absolutely less money to maintain. I've reached out to Viessmann with no response.

Products are fabulous. Nothing against the products. It is the people that everyone should be concerned about. We were a distributor of theirs. Their sales manager convinced us to drop several of our lines with many promises. We kept our end of every bargain and they kept none. The management team, from General Manager of US, to regional sales manager, to the individual at the local rep agency are not to be trusted. I have been in the HVAC industry for over twenty five years and have never ran across such dishonest, manipulative, unprofessional people in my life. All distributors and contractors who have true distributor partners beware. Viessmann is not an honest manufacturer. Products.... Phenomenal. People.....Not so much.
