BVI Solar

We had 19 year old solar panels on our roof, and when we had a roof leak, we decided to replace that system with new panels and an Enphase battery. BVI Solar removed our old panels and accessories and worked with our roof contractor to schedule the installation of the new system. The entire process went quickly and we were back online quickly. Everyone we worked with was terrific, and we highly recommend BVI Solar.

We recently added solar to our new roof using BVI Solar. Our solar system includes the Tesla Powerwall3. Tyler answered questions and provided an estimate with a cool picture of how our roof would look after installation. Zack, the office manager, coordinated the installation with our schedule (and answered many follow up questions). He was always available by text, email, or phone. The crew that installed the panels and battery were timely and efficient. BVI handled all the permits and inspection appointments (thank goodness). The Powerwall3 is working well. We had a few hitches linking it to the app, but BVI coordinated with Tesla and solved the problem (thanks Vince and David). The BVI staff were personable and very professional.

I recently had the pleasure of working with BVI Solar to install solar panels on my home, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the entire experience. The entire team had great communication with the process, timeline, next steps, and any barriers we might encounter during the entire process. Once we set an installation date the building team was very professional and punctual. I never had any issues having any of my questions answered (which there was a lot of!) definitely recommend!

Oh man it is so good to work with real professionals from time to time. Everyone, and I mean everyone that I interacted with, from the office, to the electrician knew their stuff and were extremely helpful. They made the perfect design, and installed everything in one day! All in all I had working solar in two weeks, counting from the decision to go with them. Above and beyond!

Tyler and his crew were amazing! They did the install in 2 days flat and it was up and running in no time! They took care of everything like permitting. I was so hesitant on going solar but when my bill hit $600 one month I was fed up and now I am so happy to see a negative bill wish I did it sooner!

I had microinverter possibly go and had a warranty and called Enphase. They explained to me that I was covered and that BVI has to be the group to come and fix the microinverter. In all fairness, BVI didn't install it but they are the company that purchased or who took over the agreement for zero energy. When I first called BVI, I spoke to Jasmine and she said she would help me wih the issues. However, after several weeks I got no return call and she was not picking up the phone. Eventaully, I finally got a hold of Zack and he said " Jasmine doesn't work here anymore but that he would be assisting me." He mentioned the problem was that his company was in San Diego and it was far for him to drive to LA County. I explained to him that the enphase customer service rep and other solar tecchnicians said that BVI has to be the one to fix the microinverters. Zack finally gave me his cell phone and said "I will see what I can do." After discussing with Zack several times, he said that we can't have somebody fix it but have someone else who is not authorized to fix it (another solar technicial) fix it instead. I explained to him that the local solar tecnicicans refuse to do it because they're companies name are not under warranty. After waiting since January nothing has been completed and Im still trying to get a hold of them. If anyone knows what to do, pleae help.
