Clean Cut Moving - NYC MOVERS

This was my third time using Clean Cut Moving and I could not be happier. Each time I have worked with Josh and he has been extremely professional, fast and has taken immense care of all of my items. I am extremely appreciative of their prompt communication (throughout the booking process and also with certificates of insurance) and the speed of the move. Could not recommend more!

I've used this company three times now. Always give the best price by far. This time we moved out of the city and they were $1700 less than some of their competitors. Josh is really nice to work with and always does a great job. Definitely recommend!

Clean Cut Moving is fantastic! I've used them to move twice now and had Josh lead the way both times. They were quick and efficient, and were willing to adapt when our elevator broke down halfway through the move. They made our life much easier!

My cross-borough move was exceptionally smooth! Josh the foreman and the other mover were great - they were quick, adaptable, careful, and kept all the items in great condition. Couldn't have asked for a simpler move. Clean Cut was also very flexible regarding dates and times, which I appreciated.

Josh led a great team and did everything so quickly, safely, and efficiently. Daniela via email was also excellent and provided quick, responsive, and continuous communication so there was never any delay in planning. I will be recommending them to anyone.

Clean Cut provided a quote, changed the quote after arriving (conveniently after ALL of our boxes were already on their truck) and then refused to finish the job when we wanted to discuss the new quote, which was about $400 more. Their movers then gave us a different quote -- another $200 dollars more than the number the owner, David, gave us. David told them the job was off, and they threw our boxes off the truck, against a wall. David refused to speak with us on the phone. He said we had misrepresented that we were on the 4th floor (we did not) and that we had more boxes than he estimated. Both of these things would have been apparent from the moment the movers arrived and should have been resolved when the movers arrived, not when the boxes were on their truck. We wanted to discuss any mix-up and remained open to paying more, which we made clear. But he did not respond to multiple text messages requesting to speak further before he abruptly cancelled the job (after suggesting he could call the police if we didn't agree to the updated quote?). The worst part of all, is that we were prepared to pay and tip the movers, who had already moved the boxes onto the truck, but David cancelled the job effectively stiffing his employees. We were lucky to be able to book Piece of Cake same day to finish the job, at a lower cost than Clean Cut quoted, with the same number of movers and same size truck. I am not sure what their business model is -- load things on to the truck, then provide a higher quote, and then throw boxes if you don't immediately agree to pay it? Definitely look for other movers -- this place is not professional at all.

We found Clean Cut Movers through Yelp; they offered the lowest price I was able to find and their reviews were good. The person who responded to my emails was courteous and quick, which immediately instilled confidence in the company's professionalism. The move went quickly and smoothly--much easier than what I had anticipated. Our two movers, John and Roy, showed up right on time. They were hard working, efficient, polite, and friendly. They did not take a single break during our five hour move! They carefully wrapped our furniture so it does not get dirty or damaged. The final bill was exactly how much we were initially quoted, so no unpleasant surprises there. In short, I would highly recommend this company to anyone.
