Continental Battery Systems of Grand Prairie

I arrived at this location at 8:00 AM for a scheduled delivery. Shortly after, an unknown male (who was later identified as the "boss") told me to park beside the building. This facility only has two dock doors available, and later on, another company asked me to move. With no clear direction, I had to call the consignee myself. When I reached out, Silvia answered the phone, though she sounded a bit annoyed, and transferred me to Jaime in Receiving. Jaime directed me to go back around and back into dock door #2, which I did. I’m sure the employees here are good people, but there is a lack of coordination and communication. If you’re expecting a delivery—especially something as large as batteries—it would help to make sure your warehouse staff are aware that a 53 ft trailer is on site. Also, for the "boss," it may be worth working more closely with the shipper or broker to confirm whether your facility can properly accommodate an 18-wheeler. A little extra communication would go a long way toward making deliveries smoother for everyone.
