I recently had the pleasure of working with Nick from Coyote HVAC, and I can honestly say it was one of the best service experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment he arrived, Nick’s warm and friendly demeanor immediately put me at ease. He took the time to patiently explain the process for cleaning and repairing our mini split units, ensuring I understood exactly what was going on every step of the way. It was clear that he genuinely cared about doing the best job possible, and his passion for his work shone through in all the little details he paid attention to. Not only was Nick incredibly knowledgeable, but he also demonstrated exceptional customer service skills. He arrived on time, respected our home by keeping his work area tidy, and made sure there was minimal disruption throughout the entire process. His communication was excellent—he asked for feedback, listened carefully to my concerns, and answered all of my questions thoroughly. I was impressed by how dedicated he was to making sure we were completely satisfied with the end result, even taking extra time to check every component and ensure our units were running smoothly. In addition to his professional expertise, Nick went above and beyond to leave a positive impression. He provided helpful tips on how to extend the life of our HVAC system and even took care of a few minor issues that we hadn’t initially noticed. This level of care and personal attention truly set him apart from other technicians I’ve worked with in the past. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you’re looking for an HVAC professional who is reliable, skilled, and genuinely cares about their customers, I highly recommend reaching out to Coyote HVAC. Nicks’ dedication and commitment to excellence make him an absolute standout in his field, and I feel confident knowing our mini split units are in the best possible hands.

The short story: Not to be trusted. Just another contract service provider taking your money for unacceptable, low-quality work. The long story: I had a technician come out to service our swamp cooler for the summer in May. We hadn't used the swamp cooler at all because we were new homeowners. We bought this house in November, and needed help getting it primed for this Spring and Summer. We knew before buying the house that the swamp cooler was not maintained - but all we thought was that it had rusted and needed new pads, according to our inspection. (The previous owners said it was a relatively new system....it sure didn't look that way.) When I booked the service with Coyote HVAC, I requested a swamp cooler deep clean in addition to the seasonal start-up service, which they agreed to. The swamp cooler was full of rust and we didn't want to attempt to clean it ourselves. A few weeks after their visit, I realized that 1 of 2 vents in the house was not blowing any air whatsoever. (It took me a few weeks to notice because that vent is in-between the dining room and kitchen - not somewhere we constantly occupy or notice direct air hitting us.) Then I remembered that Coyote HVAC ALSO never tested the vents to make sure they were working after they supposedly got our swamp cooler up and running for the season. Anyways - 3 days days ago, the swamp cooler stopped working altogether. When I called Coyote to book another appointment (which I would have paid for), I was told that I am now out of their service area since they merged with a different HVAC company. So we scheduled a different HVAC company who came by yesterday. They reported that every part in the swamp cooler was busted, aside from the pads and the belt. The motor is fried. Only 1 of 8 distribution tubes is working. And, the inside is still completely rusted and looks the same as the photos from when we bought the house. There was no deep clean when the Coyote tech was here. In fact, I am not sure if he did anything at all, aside from tell us that it was "good to go". after spending about 20 minutes on the roof with it. Before leaving, he asked if we wanted to schedule an appointment to learn about heat pumps and a potential system upgrade at some point down the road. I agreed, thinking we would schedule an appointment a different day or the following week, but he immediately called a colleague to come over the same day and give us a $20k estimate for a new heat pump/AC system. Again, the first tech didn't mention ANYTHING about our current swamp cooler being on the verge of complete collapse. We weren't looking to install a brand new AC system, but they were sure quick to try and acquire our money for one. We knew the swamp cooler was NOT in good shape when Coyote HVAC came to prep it for summer. However, the issues that a different HVAC company discovered yesterday (like 7 out of 8 distribution tubes not working) and signs of system distress would have been obvious in May when the Coyote tech was here. I should have asked the technician for photos after he "cleaned" and serviced the cooler. Instead, I made the mistake of trusting Coyote HVAC to do what I paid them to do. How silly of me. Thanks for nothing.

Ben is an excellent technician! He’s honest, diligent, careful to charge accurately and so enjoyable to have in our home! Today he repaired our gas fireplace. Before he has worked on our air conditioner and heater.

They sold out to another company who does not offer the same services that coyote hvac used to (namely: servicing swamp coolers). In other words: They have become a worse company. That's what I'd expect when one company buys another in the same sector, they aren't doing it to improve our experience as clients. Tell ya what though I found Hytek Air Systems right around the block and the tech that came from them was smarter, more polite, punctual, and their receptionist was very nice.

The reps and office staff were fantastic; honored discounts offered during home show. Install was mostly good; think that install on a Friday that took longer than anticipated left the crew ready to be done. I asked to be shown how to change the filter and the guy realized he didn’t make the opening for it. Asked to be walked through new thermostat, given brief description and told he’d leave me the manual. Next day realized they didn’t relight the pilot light on my hot water heater, so was without hot water. Called on Saturday and didn’t get a call back until Monday morning. Guy that called Monday was apologetic for experience.

Richard O. came out to look at my gas furnace. He quickly found and fixed the issue, while explaining to me what he was doing and why. He was extremely kind and knowledgeable, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I would absolutely recommend Coyote HVAC in general and Richard specifically!

The coyote HVAC crew installed an AC system for my house back in 2022 and going into the fourth year with it now, it has been an outstanding system with top of the line equipment. They are a quality organization! Recommended. When I was shopping, they were right in line with my budget and offered the best services and products. I made the right choice.
