Davis & Green sent two great professionals —James and Tag did a fantastic job identifying the problem; educating me & helping me connect with Dominion with their issues; installing a much needed Surge Protector for my whole house, and bonus they made time to install ceiling fans with light kits for my bedrooms and dining room that I previously bought and hadn’t made time to put up! I had very pleased and appreciative of all their work!

When my husband discovered this under our new house (sadly house inspector didn’t catch), I called Davis and Green based on their reviews. They charged $390 to tape this up (total visit time was less than one hour). It took 4 unreturned calls to finally talk to someone in billing to discuss why the bills was so high. I was given many reasons why they admittedly charge more than smaller local companies. If you are in a budget, go elsewhere.

Our experience was an excellent experience! We had what I thought was a fuse out in the circuit box, but it was actually a different issue, causing the power outage in our home. When calling to make an appointment, the woman who was taking appointments was excellent! Very friendly and courteous! When our electrician Joe arrived, he was very polite, punctual. Joe was able to identify the problem and come up with a solution in a timely manner and provided an upfront estimate before starting the work. This is refreshing because some contractors will give you a bill at the end and not actually give you an estimate. The quality of work was excellent, and the price Was very reasonable! Joe also informed us that we may want to replace our electrical panel since it is about 40 years old. He gave a good faith estimate and there was no sales pitch or pressure. Joe is a super friendly person and very knowledgeable as an expert in his field! Joe is our Go to guide for all future electrical needs!

I had an incredibly impressive experience with Tag as the electrician who assessed a malfunctioning smoke detector and then replaced all of them for me. The transparency with which the company operates, reasonable pricing and having Tag be so patient and understanding of my explanation made me feel I had truly selected the best service. He exemplifies the values of integrity and great service that this company apparently strives to actually achieve! I definitely recommend and know I will reach out to them again when needed. Mark has excellent customer service skills, and was a pleasure to work with! He performed a thorough check of the HVAC, did some repairs (one item could have potentially ignited my home), and offered smart suggestions to achieve the even temperature throughout my home that I need. I was also happy to purchase a maintenance package with Davis and Green. It's so worth gaining the peace of mind that Mark will keep my system running efficiently for years to come.

11/11/25: Updated review - STILL so impressed with every technician who comes to my house. So professional, knowledgeable, friendly, polite. I used the Electrical Safety inspection part of the complete home package I bought and Jack found a couple minor things and fixed them. He also replaced the batteries in my smoke detectors and CO detector. All while being one of the finest service people to come to my home. I wasn't - but sure am NOW - a customer of Davis & Green when I urgently needed an electrician to solve my crawl space having no power. Once contacted, i was IMMEDIATELY given an appointment and within an HOUR, their technician "Tag" showed up. He solved the power issue very quickly and then asked me if I wanted to have PERMANENT solutions explained (as this wasn't a first occurrence). I definitely did and not only did he and another technician who showed up to help him do the rework to the electrical panel, they did it the same day. I absolutely signed up for their Total Comfort plan covering a whole host of systems. I checked my previous costs for maintenance and they are very competitive - having just experienced what they offer - a 5 star experience - I am SOLD!

Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again - highly recommend! Love the efficient sign up appointment process and the communication we received prior to our appointment. Alex did an amazing job of detailing our issues and coming up with solutions - he was able to explain what was going on in great detail which was very helpful. He then resolved those issues (replaced can lights in front porch, replaced light fixtures over garage doors, replaced under counter light, and upgraded an outlet to handle a heater) quickly and efficiently. We will definitely be using Davis and Green again!
