Deason Energy

Deason Energy has gone over and beyond. When I contacted Shane I'd had my generator installed for about six months without service. It wouldn't work and the installers were blowing me off for the last six months or since install. They'd come out a few times but to no avail. I contacted Shane per generac for installation who instantly came out and recognized the issue that involved the gas connection to the generator. He then sent someone out to complete & repair what the previous installer did not. I signed-up with a service plan and they have not missed an appointment. They contact me every service period followed by a visit for maintenance. That being said, Deason Energy is a great company! Sidenote: When I was least expecting it I received some of the world's best shortbread cookies in the mail from the company. Very thoughtful! I couldn't be more satisfied. Thanks guys

Dumped generator on my front yard. Insisted on $4000. Down. Literally disappeared. Never came back. Used the plumber and electrician they were going to use who said they had gone unpaid. We paid them directly and for city code approvals. This was a true nightmare.

Deason is a crook! Took a $2000 deposit 5/31/2021 with the promise of install in November. No contact from them during the entire process, I called 11/2021 and was told I had to pay up front for the generator before they would ship it to me. June 2022 I had to contact Generac to get a refund for my $2k. 7/27/22 I just got the check minus a processing fee. Seriously? They had my $2k for 14 months are now charging me to hold it?

Our generator was delivered in December. Over the next two months I requested an update from my contact for installation at Deason five times. Each time I was promised an update. I never got one. I finally checked the Austin permitting website to find that the permitting process hadn't even been started. I hired another installer.

I purchased a Generac from Deason Back on 9/1/21 and it was not actually delivered until almost a year later. Understand the delays due to supply chain issues, but there was no communication from Deason on when I could expect it to arrive or when to expect it to be installed. It worked for a short test when installed and within a couple of weeks, the unit started to error out and shutdown. I have not been able to get anyone at Deason to return my calls or texts. My last few attempts to reach them, the phone would just hang up. I understand the supply chain issues for the delays in receiving the product I purchased on time, but the lack of communication and actions to address my service issues would prevent my from using them or recommending them to others.

Finally, after setting up appointments with two other Generac dealers, Deason comes through. Although the appointments had been set, the other two dealers never contacted me again. I decided to try it a third time and came across Deason. Not only did we have a great conversation, they set up the appointment for the delivery of the unit. As of today, Jan. 27, 2022, it was delivered.

If I could give no stars I would. They sold me a generator back in May 2021, told me it would be installed in March 2022 once it arrived. Shipped it to me months ago and then did not install it. They ignored emails and I ended up hiring another company to install it. This company will give the impression they are big since they are out if Spring Texas close to Houston but it us a lie. They are really nice and pretend to care in the beginning and then just ignore you. They are inly a couple if years old. You have been warned. There are far better options than this company.
