Design Aire Heating and Cooling

We’ve been using Design Aire since we moved to Des Peres. All their service techs are excellent. However, this past week the service tech was particularly exceptional. Thomas Tune was extremely knowledgeable and responded to my frequent questions with well thought out responses and a lot of patience. He is a professional who looks out for the home owner. We will always request Thomas.

My boss referred us to Design. We had the AC and furnace replaced. Their accessment, pricing, and services are amazing. Happily will continue doing business with them.

Been a customer of Design Air for 14 years and they have met every expectation we’ve had for customer service and skills. Today I had a new unit installed and it went smoothly. They arrived promptly at 7am and the installation was completed at 2pm as promised. Joe and his partner were skilled and answered all my questions. Very professional

I had a bad experience [[Edited to add: but they did what they could to make it up. Original sob story below, but the end result is that it turns out the first tech missed a bird’s nest in a pipe and removing it fixed the issue. Shoutout to Josh for finding and removing the nest. They’ve given me an extra year of free furnace checkups for my troubles.]] Last year I had my furnace replaced by Design Aire when it went out. This year it’s broken again. They came out, "fixed it", then it broke the same day. Then they came out again and told me they needed to get another part, and that they would fix it the day after the holiday. Now it is the day after the holiday and I heard no word from them, so I called them. Now they are telling me the part isn’t in and it might not be done today. This is all on a brand new furnace that they installed. I understand that some of this might not be totally Design Aire’s fault, and maybe the technician who said it would be fixed today just misspoke or was unclear. My family and I are still cold and annoyed, so I cannot leave a good review.

Great service. Tom kept me informed on what he was doing as far as changing out filters and letting me know about a part that wasn’t performing properly and I could fix it now or wait and see how it does next year. I chose to replace instead of waiting to see if it got worse. Tom was very easy to talk to and understand and that is a plus for me. Thanks for your service.

Called with unscheduled problem at 8am, technician arrived with 2 hours. Thomas had problem identified within 30 minutes and fixed by 60. Fast, polite and clean, plus a very reasonable bill. Would recommend to anyone. Great Company!!!

We’ve been with Design Aire for over 20 years and have always experienced excellent service. We’ve always requested Steve (he’s the best!) and they’ve accommodated our request. We go with their service contract.
